Job summary

Medtronic MiniMed India Private Limited in Pune is expanding its Global Diabetes Capability Center to enhance Order to Cash processes and deliver SAP SD solutions for global customers. This role will provide functional leadership for SAP OTC/SD, collaborating with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and IT, and mentoring junior consultants.

The candidate must have 6+ years in SAP Order to Cash with S/4 HANA experience, strong English communication, and a track record of delivering high‑quality SAP

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP Order to Cash and SAP SD expertise.
• End-to-end OTC knowledge from order to revenue.
• Experience with MM, FI integration and availability check.
• Interfaces/IDocs experience with third-party systems.
• S/4 HANA implementation experience mandatory.
• Strong business sense and stakeholder management.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) functional processes within SAP, acting as a senior subject‑matter expert for SD‑related solutions.
• Engage with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Finance, and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP SD solutions.
• Design, configure, and support SAP SD processes covering order management, pricing, delivery, billing, and credit management.
• Provide functional leadership for SAP OTC, ensuring seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, functional specs, and process designs.
• Support SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and production support, including defect resolution and continuous improvement.
• Manage incident resolution, change requests, and enhancements for timely, high‑quality delivery.
• Lead functional design reviews, prepare solution documentation, and ensure SAP best practices.
• Mentor senior/junior functional consultants for high-quality delivery and knowledge continuity.
• Collaborate with technical teams on interface design, enhancements, and performance optimization.
• Work with BRM and IT Product Owners to develop requirements for product changes.

Our Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Own and deliver end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) functional processes within SAP, acting as a senior subject‑matter expert for SD‑related solutions.

• Manage incident resolution, change requests, and enhancements, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
• Lead functional design reviews, prepare solution documentation, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices and enterprise standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to senior and junior functional consultants, ensuring high‑quality delivery and knowledge continuity.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams on interface design, enhancements, and performance optimization.
• Collaborates with Business Relationship Manager (BRM), business stakeholders and IT Product Owners / Managers to develop business requirements for product or system changes.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum 6+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP Order to Cash and SAP SD.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in SAP SD module - Sales order management, Delivery and shipping processing, Billing and invoicing, Pricing and condition technique, Credit management
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end OTC business processes, from order creation through revenue recognition.
• Experience with SAP SD integration with MM, FI, logistics processes and availability check
• Experience working with interfaces, IDocs, from third‑party or upstream systems.
• S/4 implementation experience is mandatory
• High business sensitivity, result oriented with ability to manage stakeholders and contractors.
• Ability to work with teams across geographical locations with various functional & technical expertise.
• Ability to work globally with diverse nationalities in a matrix environment
• Proactive, self‑starter and able to take initiative
• Fluent English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
