Job summary

ADCI HYD 13 SEZ - H84 in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced SAP SD and GTS Functional Lead to drive the implementation of the SD module for our organization. You will configure, customize, and deploy SD to enhance sales, distribution, and returns management processes.

The role requires leading workshops with stakeholders, designing scalable SAP SD solutions, integrating with MM, FI, and QM, and guiding RICEFW developments and data migration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SAP SD implementation with returns management.
• Experience with SD module configuration and integration with MM, FI.
• Knowledge of GTS and global trade compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead business process analysis with sales, service, distribution, and logistics stakeholders.
• Design SAP SD and logistics solutions with blueprints and roadmaps from design through delivery.
• Configure core SAP SD modules: Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Intercompany, Consignment, Reverse Logistics, Shipping, Credit Management, Master Data.
• Integrate logistics components: Delivery processing, Transportation Management (TM) in S/4HANA, basic Warehouse Management (WM).
• Design and configure cross-company sales and inter-company billing and stock transfers for proper postings.
• Architect consignment stock processing including fill-ups, issues, returns and billing.
• Integrate export controls, sanctions, licenses and legal regulations, possibly via Global Trade compliance system.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD/Logistics and MM, FI/CO, QM.
• Oversee RICEFW developments translating functional specs into technical solutions.
• Develop data migration strategies for master and transactional data.

Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD and GTS Functional Lead to spearhead the implementation of the Sales and Distribution (SD) module for our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and deploying the SD module to enhance our sales, distribution, and returns management processes.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive business process analysis and requirements gathering workshops with sales, customer service, distribution, and logistics stakeholders.
• Design and architect robust, scalable, and efficient SAP SD and Logistics solutions, developing detailed blueprints and strategic roadmaps from design through delivery.
• Configure and customize core SAP SD modules, including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing (Invoicing), Intercompany, Consignment, Reverse Logistics, Shipping, Credit Management, and Master Data.
• Configure and integrate key logistics components, including Delivery Processing, Transportation Management (TM) within S/4HANA, and basic Warehouse Management (WM) concepts.
• Design and configure cross-company sales, inter-company billing inter-company stock transfers to ensure proper financial postings and streamlined operations.
• Architect solutions for consignment stock processing, including consignment fill-up, issues, returns, and billing, optimizing inventory visibility and management.
• Integrate, configure functionalities related to export controls, sanctions, licenses, and legal regulations, potentially leveraging a Global Trade compliance system.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD/Logistics and other core SAP modules such as MM, PP (Production Planning), FI/CO, and QM.
• Oversee RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) developments, collaborating closely with technical teams to translate functional specifications into effective technical solutions.
• Develop comprehensive data migration strategies for master and transactional data.

A day in the life

• Lead and support all project testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate system functionality and data integrity.
• Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, configuration guides, and end-user training materials.
• Plan and deliver effective end-user training sessions and provide critical post-go-live support to ensure smooth system adoption and rapid issue resolution.
• Ensure designed solutions optimize sales efficiency, enhance customer service, and comply with industry best practices and internal controls.
• Develop and execute training plans to train end-users on the configured SAP SD processes and functionalities.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in implementing and configuring the SAP SD module, with a strong emphasis on returns management and reverse logistics processes.
• Thorough understanding of sales, distribution, BOM (Bill of Materials) and returns management processes, including order management, pricing, delivery, and credit/debit memo processing.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD and its integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI, LE).
• Experience in integrating with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), Demand Forecasting, Procure to Pay and Sales and operations planning processes.
• Must have worked with Financial Supply Chain: A/R, Credit management FI Reconciliation & Audit, Planning & Budgeting, Tax integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in implementing SAP S/4 HANA OTC module with Advanced Returns Management, Advanced Inter-company processes.
• Worked in the server components or high-tech manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of vendor-managed inventory (VMI) and third-party logistics integration.
• Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience in planning, development, implementation, and end-to-end life cycle of at least 4-5 complex large-scale enterprise transformations.
• At least five (5) years of S/4 HANA experience.
