Job summary

Ushodaya Enterprises in India seeks an experienced SAP MM consultant to own core MM processes and enable smooth integration with PP, SD and FI/CO. You will manage material master data, BOM validation, stock transfers and GST-related STO activities, coordinating with ABAP teams for fixes.

The role requires hands-on experience with S/4HANA 2021, Smart Forms, BDC and release strategies, and strong communication with business users across warehouse, production and finance functions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SAP MM with S/4HANA 2021.
• Experience in material code creation, modification, and plant extension.
• Knowledge of new plant configuration and MM organizational structure.
• BOM verification and coordination with PP teams.
• Inventory checking, stock verification, and material movements.
• Understanding PR, PO, GR, GI, STO and inter-plant stock transfers.
• Experience with GST-related STO processes and GST output fixes.
• Knowledge of Smart Forms and ABAP coordination for corrections.
• BDC for mass upload/update activities.
• Familiarity with release strategies and approval workflows.
• Material master data validation and troubleshooting.
• Integration between MM, PP, SD, and FI/CO.
• User support, issue analysis, testing, UAT and production support.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on SAP MM functional support across modules.
• Assist in configuring MM processes and integrating with PP/SD/FI/CO.
• Troubleshoot BOM, inventory, and stock transfer issues.
• Coordinate with business users, warehouse, finance, and ABAP teams.
• Support UAT, testing, and production deployment of MM changes.

Role & responsibilities

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM, with working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA 2021.


• Experience in Material/Item Code creation, modification, and plant extension.


• Working knowledge of new plant configuration and MM organizational structure.


• Experience in BOM verification and coordination with PP teams.


• Hands-on experience in inventory checking, stock verification, and material movements.


• Good understanding of PR, PO, GR, GI, STO, and inter-plant stock transfer processes.


• Experience in handling GST-related STO processes and resolving Smart Form/print output issues related to GST STOs.


• Working knowledge of Smart Forms, including basic issue analysis and coordination with ABAP teams for corrections.


• Working knowledge of BDC (Batch Data Communication) for mass data upload/update activities.


• Working knowledge of release strategies/release matrix for PR/PO and understanding of approval workflows.


• Experience in material master data validation and troubleshooting.


• Good understanding of integration between MM, PP, SD, and FI/CO.


• Experience in user support, issue analysis, testing, UAT, and production support.


• Ability to coordinate with business users, warehouse, finance, production, ABAP, and other functional teams.


• Good communication skills and ability to independently analyze SAP MM functional issues.
