The Opportunity

• Drive the development of service operations by monitoring, advising and bringing expertise in defining service management for ERP development, including internal and external interfaces, to make Product Services more agile, product-centric and focused on delivering service excellence.
• Ensure development services are provided in time, with high quality and high customer satisfaction.
• Partner with peers in Operating Excellence, Platform and Architectural Services to drive continuous improvements of service processes, user experiences, infrastructure and application optimization.

Accountabilities

• Accountable for developing, configuring, troubleshooting, reviewing, deploying and maintaining ERP services.
• Ensure ERP environment delivers high-quality user experiences and development services on a consistent, supportable global platform.
• Support product developments, align with release management planning and country deployments while guarding the technical architecture and landscape management.
• Drive development of product services by applying service management expertise to be more agile and product-centric with service excellence.
• Participate in deployment of continuous improvements for the area of responsibility.
• Ensure IT environment meets applicable regulatory, quality, legal, and compliance requirements, including software licensing and data protection acts (DPA, GDPR, etc.).
• Ensure development complies with applicable requirements, e.g., SOX, GxP.
• Adhere to organizational strategy for SAP systems and the necessary policies, standards, procedures and methods.

Education, Behavioral Competencies and Skills

• Technical expertise in multiple SAP solution areas – ABAP, ABAP/OO, S/4 HANA development, FIORI/UI5, Neptune SAP edition.
• Experience with programming Function Modules, SmartForms, PDF Forms, BAdI or/and Enhancement Framework, User Exits, Reports and Dialog Programming, CDS views, OData Services.
• Technical knowledge with focus on SAP MDG and modules Business Partner and Material Master.
• Development experience for full lifecycle implementations; from project initiation to handover to operations.
• Ability to design technical solutions from requirements gathering through to code and landscape-wide deployment while ensuring compliance with development and regulatory standards.
• Data management; ability to use data collection and analysis for fact-based decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Analytical skills and ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Efficient time management in an international environment.
• Min. 8+ years IT work experience with at least 5+ years in SAP ABAP development.
• Bachelor’s or other advanced degree.
