VISEO ASIA is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant/Lead to orchestrate end-to-end SAP designs across Production Planning, Materials Management, and Warehouse Management, aligned with manufacturing workflows. You will drive secure, scalable solutions and partner with technical teams to ensure smooth deployment.
Responsibilities include daily SAP operations support, process improvements, and close collaboration with operations and IT stakeholders.
Lead the end-to-end design of integrated SAP solutions aligned with manufacturing processes including Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Warehouse Management (WM)Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable SAP solutions that optimize manufacturing workflows, supply chain management, and financial operationsDefine and enforce adherence to SAP best practices, standards, and governance frameworks tailored for the manufacturing industryTranslate complex operational and business requirements into comprehensive, functional, and technical SAP designsCollaborate with SAP Basis, security, and development teams to ensure smooth solution deploymentThe role is SAP Operations Support focused on daily operational system support, issue resolution, and continuous process improvementAble to bridge operations and SAP functionality, supporting both system and business process needs
Foster close collaboration with manufacturing operations, supply chain, production planning, warehouse management teams to deeply understand business challenges and opportunitiesConduct workshops, gather requirements, validate solutions, and co-create business processes that maximize SAP valueDevelop and execute change management plans to influence and motivate leaders and users to adopt SAP systems effectivelyChampion SAP usage improvements, promoting faster business value realization by addressing user pain points and operational bottleneckAct as a trusted advisor and bridge between business and IT, translating technical concepts into business language and vice versa
Provide clear functional leadership to SAP configuration and development teams, ensuring designs meet business and technical objectivesReview and approve all functional and technical specifications related to SAP manufacturing and integration componentsLead SAP functional testing efforts and support end-user training initiativesFacilitate and lead cross-functional collaboration between SAP functional, technical, and business teamsIdentify and mitigate project risks related to solution complexity, integration, or user adoption challenges
Oversee seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems, leveraging technologies like IDocs, BAPIs, APIs, and middleware platformsEvaluate and assess innovative SAP solutions and emerging technologies; knowledge in SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing will be considered an assetDrive continuous innovation initiatives to digitize manufacturing processes, improve information flows, and enable real-time data-driven decision making
Support SAP projects including implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and ongoing enhancements with manufacturing focusEstablish architecture governance processes to ensure solution consistency, compliance, and maintainabilityDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation covering solution architecture, business processes, integration flows, and compliance auditsMonitor KPIs related to SAP system usage, performance, and business impact, recommending corrective actions as needed
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 5 to 7+ years of SAP functional support experience with strong emphasis on manufacturing and office furniture or related discrete manufacturing environmentsPrimary SAP modules: PP (Production Planning) as the focus, followed by MM (Materials Management) and WM (Warehouse Management)Candidate must have hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment, understanding the end‑to‑end plant processesProven expertise in multiple SAP ERP platforms, such as SAP 4.7, and SAP ECC 6.0, with the ability to adapt to evolving system architecturesDemonstrated track record working directly with operations teams and business leaders, with strong influencing, stakeholder management, and change leadership skillsIn-depth knowledge of SAP integration technologies such as IDocs, BAPI, SAP PI/PO, APIs, and middleware solutionsHands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA manufacturing functional design and solution delivery strongly preferredStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational executionExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including workshop facilitation, presentation, and documentationExperience working within agile and/or waterfall project delivery methodologiesProven ability to drive SAP adoption and continuous process improvement in complex manufacturing settingsSAP certifications in relevant modules (e.g., SAP PP, MM, WM)Familiarity with compliance frameworks specific to manufacturing (e.g., ISO standards, SOX controls)Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile Scrum) is a plusReal operational experience in a manufacturing setup is mandatoryPreferably has experience working in or with a consulting firm, with demonstrated operational engagementSAP certification is preferredMust be able to support daily plant operations, not limited to configuration or advisory tasksCapable of acting as a Business Analyst for operations, identifying and solving operational challenges using SAP tools and best practices
