Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in India is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to lead requirement gathering, design and go-live activities across multinational client projects.

You will work with cross-functional teams, train super-users, and ensure effective Procure to Pay, inventory and logistics processes, including special cases like batch management.

The role requires travel to client sites, strong communication, and the ability to work both in large teams and independently.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills for requirements and training.
• 2-3 SAP project lifecycle implementations.
• Experience with multinational clients.
• Understanding business processes and global design deployment.
• Ability to work in large teams and independently.
• Travel to client sites as required.
• Graduate with SAP functional experience over 5-7 years.

Responsibilities

• Experience with specifications, development and testing of RICE-F objects.
• Training the Trainer (Super-user).
• Data conversion with Super User.
• UAT with Super User.
• Go Live and initial period with Super and End users.
• Strong knowledge of Procure to Pay cycle including Purchasing, Inventory Management & Invoice Verification.
• Strong knowledge of special processes including Consignment, Subcontracting & Batch Management.
• Prepare Functional Specifications and work with developers to achieve RICEF objects.
• Cross-functional integration with SD, WM & FI.
• EDI Integration techniques and Idoc monitoring.
• Solution Manager Change Management process.

Job description

• Excellent communication skills as the consultant will need to do customer facing activities, requirement gathering and user training capabilities
• Minimum 2-3 SAP project lifecycle implementation
• Experience of working with multinational clients
• Ability to understand business processes and capability to deploy Global Design
• Ability to work in large team and adjust to working hours
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Graduate with SAP functional experience of over 5-7 years
• Travel to client site as per project requirements

SAP Functional consultant will be responsible for:

• Experience with specifications, development and testing of RICE-F work
• Training the Trainer (Super-user)
• Working Data conversion with Super User,
• Working UAT with Super User and
• Working the Go Live and initial period with Super and End users.
• Strong working knowledge of Procure to pay cycle covering the critical aspects of Purchasing, Inventory Management & Invoice Verification.
• Strong knowledge in special processes including and not limited to Consignment, Subcontracting & Batch Management.
• Prepare Functional Specifications and work with developer to achieve RICEF objects.
• Cross functional expertise and strong integration knowledge of system with other modules which includes SD, WM & FI.
• Experience in EDI Integration techniques along with Idoc monitoring process.
• Able to understand and work on Solution Manager Change Management process.
