Job summary

AutoZone in Delhi, India seeks a Senior SAP ABAP expert to lead interface design, CDS/RAP apps, and co-develop multi-platform SAP solutions within the S/4HANA Cloud ecosystem.

You will mentor the team, review tech deliverables, and ensure best practices in ABAP, BTP microservices, AIF, AMDP, and integration patterns.

Bachelor's degree required; 16+ years of IT experience preferred; strong coding standards and SDLC knowledge expected.

Position Summary

Performs lead role in defining the requirements and developing technology solutions to meet AutoZone business needs; Directs and coordinates complex systems integration, and infrastructure; serves as techno-functional expert for multi-platform systems and multiple technologies, concentrating on the SAP ecosystem (S/4 HANA, BTP, Ariba, CAR, ABAP) and supporting applications.

• Thorough understanding of ABAP, BTP and SAP private cloud concepts and capabilities
• Hands on Experience in developing RICEFW objects. This needs to be applicable for SAP core and clean methodologies
• Able to design interfaces with optimum and efficient interfacing methodologies
• Able to perform tech deliverable reviews which includes code, TS and TUT.
• Understanding required steps for cutovers and TR movements.
• Able to use BTP microservices.
• Mentor team on new technical concepts related to SAP ABAP.
• Able to develop CDS, AMDP and RAP based apps and services.
• Articulating the technical gaps in solution developed against the business requirement.
• Able to test API using postman.
• Usage of Cloud Connector for API handling.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
• Requires 16+ years of IT Industry experience based on consistently demonstrated capabilities.
• AP S/4HANA Cloud: Experience with S/4HANA Cloud modules and architecture.
• ABAP Programming: Proficiency in ABAP, including object-oriented concepts and performance optimization techniques.
• SAP BTP & Microservices: Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform and microservices architecture.
• AIF (Application Interface Framework): Experience in developing and managing interfaces using AIF.
• CDS (Core Data Services): Ability to design and implement CDS views for data modeling.
• AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures): Experience in developing AMDPs to leverage HANA's database capabilities.
• Code Governance: Knowledge of SAP best practices and code governance standards.
• Integration Patterns: Understanding of various integration patterns and their implementation.
• RICEFW Rationalization: Experience in rationalizing RICEFW objects to improve efficiency.
• SDLC Knowledge: Familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Imagine, Build, Deliver Phases: Experience in the Imagine, Build, and Deliver phases of project development.
