Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking a SAP CIS DM/AMI Architect to design and implement SAP DM/AMI solutions for client projects in the utilities sector. The role involves aligning solutions with business objectives and ensuring seamless system integrations, including with EnergyIP.

You will lead design efforts, collaborate with stakeholders, mentor 3–5 consultants, and support project managers to ensure high-quality deliverables. Also involved in sales pursuits and roadmap input for CIS offerings.

Job description

Be responsible for SAP Device Management (DM) & (Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solution design on client projects

Ensure proper system integration between SAP S/4HANA DM/AMI and other work and headend system (such EnergyIP)

SAP CIS DM & AMI functional architect with prior experience with the Utilities industry and strong business understanding of the utility industry's business processes

Lead the design and implementation of SAP DM solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, translating business requirements into technical specifications.

Experience with overseeing and approving the end-to-end process design, configuration, testing, and ultimate conversions of the SAP functions included within DM/AMI and all points of integration across the solution landscape

Provide business best practices and thought leadership to clients

Serve as a mentor to 3-5 consultants of all levels, which includes guiding their career development and completing performance management activities

Support the project manager to validate and ensure the quality of deliverables

Provide SAP CIS and DM planning services to utility clients

Participate in the development of innovative CIS products and services

To be consulted with the Product Development team (Utility4U/MeterData4U) in an advisor role, assisting with roadmap, approach and strategies

Assist with strategy planning for the SAP CIS practice

Assist with sales pursuits from a solution perspective, including writing proposals and leading/participating in solution demos and orals presentations
