iGreenTree in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Consultant to design, configure, implement and maintain contract subledger accounting for utility operations including power, gas and water.

The role covers end-to-end M2C financial processes, BP/CA master data, BRF+ rules, and cross-module integration with IS-U Billing and FI-CO/S4HANA. Collaboration with ABAP teams and data migration support are key parts of the job.

• Design and configure clearing strategies, payment lots, and cash desk operations.
• Implement dunning procedures, collection strategies, and agency integrations.
• Coordinate with ABAP teams for unit testing, deployments, and cross-module integration.
• Lead or support data migration for open items and balances during cutovers.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Consultant to design, configure, implement, and maintain contract subledger accounting solutions for our utility operations (power, gas, water, and multi-utility billing)

Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end Meter-to-Cash (M2C) financial processes, handling high-volume transaction processing, collection strategies, payment gateways, and integration between IS-U Billing, FI-CA, and General Ledger (FI-CO / S/4HANA Finance).
• Drive requirements gathering, lead Business Blueprinting (BPD) workshops, and map business processes into SAP standard/custom solutions.
• Draft Functional Specifications (FS) for custom RICEFW / S/4HANA developments, custom FICA events (e.g., sample function modules), user exits, and BRF+ rules.
• Master Data Setup: Configure Business Partners (BP), Contract Accounts (CA), Contract Objects, and Main/Sub-transactions for postings.
• Payments & Clearing: Design and configure clearing strategies, incoming/outgoing payment lots, direct debits, returns processing, and cash desk operations.
• Dunning & Collections: Implement dunning procedures, dunning by line item or balance, interest calculations, collection strategies (including BRF+ rules), and collection agency integrations.
• Credit & Exception Management: Manage security deposit processes, installment plans, promise-to-pay, write-offs, and deferrals.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers and technical teams to build, unit test, and deploy customizations.
• Ensure seamless cross-module integration with IS-U Billing & Invoicing, Device Management, Customer Service (CS/CRM / C4C), and external banking or payment gateway APIs.
• Testing, Migration & Operational Support
• Prepare Test Scenarios, RTM (Traceability Matrices), and lead Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Lead or support data migration for open items, payment history, and contract account balances during greenfield or brownfield cutover activities.

Requirements:

• Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP IS-U FI-CA implementation, rollout, or support projects.

Technical Skills:

• Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of utility industry processes (regulated/deregulated markets across power, gas, or water).
• Functional Configuration & Core FI-CA Operations
• G/L Integration: Configure FI-CA to FI-CO General Ledger reconciliation, document structures, posting specs, and month-end/period-end closing procedures.
• Solution Design & System Integration

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is a must.
