Job summary

Opella in Hyderabad seeks an experienced SAP ABAP developer to enable SAP S/4HANA eventing and enterprise integration. You will drive event-driven architectures, expose data and events, and collaborate across SAP teams to evolve our integration landscape.

This role offers a clear path toward becoming an Integration Architect, with exposure to SAP Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh, and BTP in a fast-paced, global self-care company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience delivering complex SAP solutions in enterprise environments.
• Exposure to Enterprise Integration concepts is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Enable and support SAP S/4HANA eventing capabilities using the SAP event enablement framework (ASAPIO) and SAP Advanced Event Mesh (AEM).
• Design, develop and maintain CDS Views and related SAP artifacts to expose business data and events for enterprise integrations.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams to identify business events and reusable business capabilities.
• Work closely with the Integration Delivery team to implement event-driven integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite and SAP Advanced Event Mesh.
• Support the implementation of asynchronous integration patterns following enterprise architecture standards.
• Troubleshoot and optimize SAP event enablement components and related integrations.
• Participate in architecture discussions to evolve Opella’s event-driven integration landscape.
• Contribute to reusable integration assets, technical standards and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Continuously develop expertise in SAP BTP, Event-Driven Architecture and Enterprise Integration.

About The Role

As part of Opella’s Integration Delivery team, you will play a key role in enabling SAP S/4HANA to become an active participant in our enterprise integration landscape through modern event-driven architecture.

This role is ideal for an experienced SAP ABAP professional who wants to expand into Enterprise Integration, SAP Integration Suite, and Event-Driven Architecture. You will work at the intersection of SAP development and enterprise integration, enabling business events, exposing reusable business data, and supporting the evolution of our integration capabilities.

This position offers a structured career path toward becoming an Integration Architect while contributing to the modernization of Opella’s digital ecosystem.

Experience

• 8+ yearsof professional experience in SAP ABAP development.
