Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior SAP ILM Archiving consultant in Bengaluru to lead SAP ILM archiving efforts across ECC to S/4HANA migrations. You will design, implement, test and validate ILM solutions, including archive objects and purge strategies, working with SAP IQ and OpenText ecosystems.

Interacting with business users and stakeholders, you will drive archiving projects end-to-end, ensuring production readiness and post-production support in a complex SAP landscape.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-6 years SAP Data Archiving experience.
• Experience in archiving projects involving ECC to S/4HANA migration.
• Analysing database growth and implementing SAP ILM archiving.
• Providing installation, configuration, and technical expertise for SAP ILM, plus testing and validation.
• Experience with ILM store setup with SAP IQ and OpenText.
• Proficient in SARA configurations, archiving object development and ILM configurations.
• Hands-on with impacts of archiving and mitigations; end-to-end lifecycle coverage.

Responsibilities

• Designing, Testing, Production and Post Production phases in SAP Archiving/ILM implementations.
• Implementing archiving objects and standard/custom archives across SAP modules.
• Managing purging/hybrid DVM solutions for technical and staging tables.
• Hands-on with archive metadata and ADK file handling.
• Leading workshops and discussions with business users and stakeholders.

ILM_Senior:

• Minimum 4-6 years SAP Data Archiving experience
• Should have worked on Archiving project involving migration from ECC to S/4HANA.
• Analysis of Database growth and Implementation of SAP ILM Archiving
• Providing installation, configuration, functional and technical expertise for SAP ILM and assisting with testing and validation of results.
• Experience in ILM Store Setup implementation with SAP IQ, OpenText etc.
• Should be proficient in SARA related configurations, archiving object development and ILM configurations.
• Hands‑on with identifying impacts due to archiving and implementing their mitigating solutions
• Designing, Testing, Production and Post Production phases in SAP Archiving/ILM implementation assignments.
• Implementation experience with Standard and Custom Archive objects for various SAP modules.
• Implementing purging/hybrid DVM solutions for technical tables/staging functional tables
• Well versed with archive meta data & ADK files handling
• Hands‑on with System assessment in context to DVM or alternatives
• Hands‑on with Document Archiving scenarios/Content server migration
• Experienced in conducting/leading workshop/discussions with the business users/stakeholders

Good to have:

• Excellent Communication skills (Verbal and Written)
• Hands‑on with Nearline Storage (SAP IQ) integration with archive server and SAP, Administration and Support
• SAP Integration with Content and Archive server
• Experience with VIM and OpenText administration
• Implementation experience with SAP ILM retention management, Legal Hold and Case Management, ILM blocking
• SAP Basis Hands‑On Experience, like basic understanding & troubleshooting
