valantic India seeks an experienced SAP IBP – S&OP Consultant in Bengaluru to lead end-to-end SAP IBP implementations. You will focus on S&OP processes, demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, and supply & response, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver robust IBP solutions.

The role requires strong configuration, solution design, and integration skills, with hands-on IBP experience across multiple modules.

• Drive end-to-end SAP IBP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
• Work with business and process architects to translate S&OP requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Configure and optimize IBP functionalities including allocation, availability, planning levels, key figures, and multilevel planning.
• Develop and optimize demand forecasting models, statistical forecast algorithms, product lifecycle management, and forecast automation.
• Ensure integration of SAP IBP with SAP APO, ECC, and HANA.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP IBP – S&OP Consultant with strong expertise in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and hands‑on experience across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Supply & Response.

The ideal candidate will have strong SAP IBP configuration and solution design experience, with the ability to lead end‑to‑end implementation projects and work closely with business stakeholders to deliver effective S&OP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver SAP IBP S&OP solutions with a strong focus on Sales & Operations Planning processes.
• Configure and design SAP IBP solutions across S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Supply & Response.
• Drive end‑to‑end SAP IBP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
• Work closely with business and process architects to translate S&OP business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Configure and optimize IBP functionalities including allocation, availability, planning levels, key figures, and multilevel planning.
• Develop and optimize demand forecasting models, statistical forecast algorithms, product lifecycle management, and forecast automation.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP IBP with SAP APO, ECC, and HANA.
• Participate in client‑facing discussions, workshops, solution demonstrations, and requirement analysis.
• Provide technical and functional leadership across SAP IBP implementation projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, system performance, and overall S&OP effectiveness.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP IBP with a primary focus on S&OP.
• Strong expertise in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Supply & Response.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant SAP IBP experience.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on SAP IBP experience with strong knowledge of one or more IBP modules, preferably IBP for S&OP or IBP for Demand.
• Experience in multiple end‑to‑end SAP IBP implementation projects, preferably in a lead/client‑facing role.
• Strong configuration, solution design, and integration skills.
• Good knowledge of SAP APO, ECC, and HANA integration.
• Experience with allocation, availability, multilevel planning, and planning models.
• Knowledge of statistical forecasting, forecast automation, and product lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in agile project environments.

Preferred

• Experience leading SAP IBP S&OP implementation projects.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and process architects.
• Strong understanding of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and digital supply chain processes.
• Ability to independently drive solution design and provide technical leadership.
