Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking an SAP IBP Functional Consultant with 5–10 years of experience to configure, implement, and support SAP IBP solutions across Demand, Supply, S&OP, and related areas.

The role includes working with business teams to translate requirements into SAP IBP configurations, supporting Excel Add-In and Fiori apps, and ensuring reliable data integration with SAP S/4HANA/ECC and other systems.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP IBP.
• Experience in one or more key areas: Demand, Supply, S&OP, Inventory, or Response & Supply.
• Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts and processes.
• Hands-on experience with: Planning Areas, Key Figures, Planning Levels, Master Data Types, Time Profiles, Planning Operators.
• Experience in integration between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA/ECC.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot master-data and transactional-data integration issues.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical and integration teams.

Job description

Role: SAP IBP Functional Consultant
Experience: 5-10 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and support SAP IBP solutions.
• Support end-to-end supply chain planning processes across:
• IBP for Demand
• IBP for Supply
• Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
• IBP for Inventory
• Response and Supply
• Demand-Driven Replenishment, where applicable
• Configure and maintain planning areas, planning levels, key figures, attributes, master data types, time profiles, and planning operators.
• Support statistical forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and scenario planning.
• Work closely with business teams to understand planning requirements and translate them into SAP IBP solutions.
• Configure and support SAP IBP Excel Add-In and relevant Fiori applications.
• Support data integration between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA/ECC and other source systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot master-data and transactional-data integration issues.
• Support SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (CI-DS) and/or SAP Integration Suite integration scenarios as applicable.
• Analyze production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
• Handle configuration changes, enhancements, testing, and production deployments.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical and integration teams.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT support.
• Maintain SOPs, configuration documents, functional specifications, and knowledge-management documentation.
• Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes within agreed SLAs.
