SAP HANA Developer

Location: Hyderabad/Bhubaneswar/Chennai/Bangalore

Responsibilities

• Build semantic procedures using HANA stored procedures and objects.
• Manage migration of code and objects across environments (DEV to higher) using HALM tool for transport management.
• Work with HDBDD, HDBProcedure, HDBSequence, and Calculation Views.
• Design and develop approximate and outer joins, spatial joins, and temporal joins.
• Contribute to data warehouse and semantic layer development.
• Design tables in de‑formalized/repeating group format and normalized 3NF tables.
• Implement ETL logic using batch and audit columns for incremental data loading.
• Induct SLT tables and load data via import utilities in HANA (preferred).
• Replicate data between HANA and non‑HANA systems (e.g., Teradata, Snowflake) using the replication framework (preferred).

Qualifications

• Strong experience with SAP HANA development.
• Proficiency in HANA stored procedures, calculation views, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with HALM and transport management.
• Knowledge of ETL practices and incremental loading strategies.
• Experience with SLT, HANA data loading utilities, and replication frameworks is a plus.
