Job summary

Infosys in Chennai seeks a senior SAP GTS consultant with 11+ years of experience to lead end-to-end foreign trade implementations across R/3, S/4HANA and GTS. You will optimize export controls, customs handling, origin and preference processing, and implement sanctions screening and related compliance solutions.

You will perform customizing, prepare detailed functional specifications (RICEFW), and support migration to SAP GTS Edition for HANA.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of SAP GTS experience with full life-cycle implementations (multi-country rollout preferred).
• Manage and ensure smooth operation of SAP foreign trade processes across R/3, S/4HANA, and GTS.
• Analyze and optimize processes for export control, customs handling, origin of goods, and preference processing.
• Implement solutions for customs, export control, sanctions list screening, and related compliance areas.
• Perform customizing and prepare detailed functional specifications (RICEFW).
• Support migration to SAP GTS Edition for HANA.
• Design and maintain interfaces with third‑party applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement efforts to provide high-quality consulting solutions from problem definition to solution design, development and deployment.
• Review proposals prepared by consultants, provide guidance, and analyze client solutions for risks and issues.
• Identify change management requirements and propose structured approaches using multiple communication channels.
• Coach and inspire the team, provide SME training, and recognize high performance.
• Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives while adhering to Infosys guidelines and processes.

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to lead the engagement effort of providing high-quality and value-adding consulting solutions to customers at different stages- from problem definition to diagnosis to solution design, development and deployment.
• You will review the proposals prepared by consultants, provide guidance, and analyze the solutions defined for the client business problems to identify any potential risks and issues.
• You will identify change Management requirements and propose a structured approach to client for managing the change using multiple communication mechanisms.
