Job summary

Tata Power Company is seeking an experienced SAP BPC/GR specialist for Navi Mumbai. The role requires deep expertise in BPC, Group Reporting, and BW data modelling, with hands-on work in Data Manager, Logic Script, BADI, and EPM. Finance background and CA/ICWA are a plus.

You will lead end-to-end consolidation, budgeting and forecasting processes, coordinating with Corporate Accounts & Finance and MIS teams, ensuring successful delivery and seamless data flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BPC and GR with 2–3 full life cycle projects
• Proficient in end-to-end BPC/GR solutions and BW data extraction/modelling
• Hands-on experience with Data Manager, Logic Script, BADI and EPM
• Experience with revenue, P&L and BS planning and data allocation
• Knowledge of SAP ECC (FICO)/BW ETL is a plus
• Ability to contribute to blueprinting and customer pursuits
• Leadership in challenging project situations to resolve issues

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end BPC and Group Reporting solutions
• Integrate BI with BPC/GR and ensure data flows from source to consolidation
• Lead data modelling in BW 7.4+ environments and support planning processes
• Configure and test Data Manager workflows, Logic Scripts, and EPM settings
• Collaborate with business users across Corporate Accounts & Finance, MIS, and subsidiaries
• Guide project teams through blueprinting, design reviews, and customer engagements

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BPC, GR including 2-3 full life cycle projects and support.
• Must have SAP BPC 10.010.1 NetWeaver experience and Group Reporting.
• Proficient in designing, developing, and delivering end to end BPC, GR solutions.
• Extensive experience of integration of BI and BPC, GR.
• Good knowledge of BW data extraction and modelling in BW 7.4 and higher environment.
• Should be specialized in Design and Configuration of BPC, GR consolidation, planning, and forecasting function and process, including Data Manager, Logic Script, BADI and EPM, SAP Analysis for Office.
• Have hands on implementation experience in revenue forecast, P&L and BS planning, cost center planning, data allocation areas.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC (FICO)/SAP BW ETL PROCESS and other planning and forecasting tools in SAP is a plus.
• Capability to understand the scope and get involved in the Blueprinting and Customer pursuits.
• Lead in difficult situations of the project and play the key role in solving technical and functional issues

Preferred candidate profile:

• Hands on experience in SAP FICO, SAP Group Reporting, SAC.
• Finance background is a must (preferably CA / ICWA) .
• Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others and cooperating with others.
• Should have good communication and interpersonal skill.

• Configuration, Testing, Training, Day to Day support, liaising with the Business users which includes users from Corporate Accounts & Finance, Performance and MIS Group, Subsidiary companies.
• Responsible for successful delivery of the consolidation, MIS solutions.
• Interaction with Technical team (BI, SAP FI) for data extraction from FI to BI and BPC, GR.

Graduate with Engineering Degree (CS/Electronics/IT) / MCA / MCS/Finance background is a must (preferably CA/ICWA)
