EY’s GDS Tax Technology in Bangalore seeks a Senior SAP Fiori/ABAP developer to design and build tax tools and applications. You will work with ERP, data analytics and cloud technologies, guiding teams through architecture, development and quality reviews.

Ideal candidates have 4–10 years of SAP Fiori experience, SAPUI5/UI5 development skills and a strong grasp of modern tech trends. This on-site role offers collaboration with global teams in a dynamic tax technology practice.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Software Engineering, IT, MBA or MCA.
• 4–10 years’ experience in SAP Fiori project implementation.
• Experience with Scrum and project management.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA implementation, SAP Build, CAP and Gen AI.

GDS Tax Technology

Position

EY’s GDS Tax Technology team’s mission is to develop, implement and integrate technology solutions that better serve our clients and engagement teams. As a member of EY’s core Tax practice, you’ll develop a deep tax technical knowledge and outstanding ERP, database, data analytics and programming skills.

Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather, organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.

EY's GDS Tax Technology team members work side-by-side with the firm's partners, clients and tax technical subject matter experts to develop and incorporate technology solutions that enhance value-add, improve efficiencies and enable our clients with disruptive and market leading tools supporting Tax.

GDS Tax Technology works closely with clients and professionals in the following areas: Federal Business Tax Services, Partnership Compliance, Corporate Compliance, Indirect Tax Services, Human Capital, and Internal Tax Services. GDS Tax Technology provides solution architecture, application development, testing and maintenance support to the global TAX service line both on a pro-active basis and in response to specific requests.

EY is currently seeking a Senior to join our Tax Technology practice in Bangalore, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists project teams in estimating the architecture design effort and develop/ review/ approve architecture designs.
• Be subject matter expert to program/project teams in the plan, design, and delivery of technical solutions.
• Involve insolution design and development of Tax tools and technology solutions.
• Lead the solution design and development of Tax tools and technology solutions.

Qualification & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Software Engineering / Information Technology / MBA / MCA.
• An overall 4-10 years’ experience Sap Fiori Project Implementation.
• Scrum and Project management.
• Experience and understanding of technology tools.

  • Knowledge/Experience on BTP technologies such as SAP Build, CAP, Gen AI will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge on integrations with other technology will be an added advantage.

SAP Fiori/UI5 & ABAP experience required:

• Experience in working as a full stack Fiori developer.
• Design and develop Fiori applications.
• Prepare technical specification documents.
• Convert functional requirement to technical design
• Develop SAPUI5 application on VS Code, WebIDE or SAP BAS
• Should have knowledge of developing OData service using SAP Gateway
• Knowledge/Experience on SAP RAP would be an added advantage.
• Consume On-Premise OData services in Cloud using destinations and OData Provisioning.
• Enhance SAP Fiori applications.
• Perform technical reviews and SAPUI5 code reviews.
• Should have sound knowledge of GIT.
• Should have knowledge on FLP Configurations and Customizations.
• Should have sound knowledge on Unit and Integration testing.
• Having knowledge of SAP Fiori element framework and extensions will be added advantage
