Job summary

EY is hiring an experienced SAP Fiori Senior consultant in Chennai to lead SAPUI5-based application design, development and CAPM implementation. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, configuring Fiori Launchpad, and integrating SAP CAPM with S/4HANA and BTP.

You will design, develop, test and deploy scalable Fiori applications, troubleshoot issues, and provide end-user training, while staying aligned with EY’s global enablement and delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP Fiori Consultant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SAPUI5, Fiori design principles, and SAP Gateway.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience with the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) and SAP CAPM.
• Knowledge of OData/REST/SOAP integrations and SAP APIs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements for Fiori applications.
• Design, develop, and implement SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and other relevant technologies.
• Design and develop applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM).
• Optimize SAP CAPM application performance and troubleshoot issues using event handlers, logs, and Node.js debugging tools.
• Implement OData services and manage data models in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Activation and Configuration of Standard Fiori Applications
• Configuration of Fiori Launchpad
• Knowledge of Fiori Launchpad Content Manager, Spaces, Pages, Theme Designer
• Customize and enhance existing Fiori applications to meet specific client needs.
• Conduct testing and debugging of Fiori applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting errors in Standard as well as Custom Fiori App issues
• Provide training and support to end-users on Fiori applications.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP Fiori and related technologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Fiori applications with existing SAP systems.

The Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Fiori and CAPM Consultant, with 3 to 6 years of relent Work Experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Fiori application development and implementation, along with a deep understanding of SAP UI5 and related technologies. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our applications are scalable, efficient, and meet business requirements.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in SAP development, specifically with the Cloud Application Programming Model.
• Strong knowledge Build CDS models, service layers, and custom logic using CAP annotations Node.js or Java programming.
• Integrate with S/4HANA, SAP APIs, and external systems using OData/REST/SOAP
• Strong knowledge CAPM Backend & Frontend UI Annotations.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP certification in Fiori, CAPM or related areas.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
