Job Title: SAP FI Consultant – Asset Accounting

Location: Remote

Job Type: Contract / Full-time

Experience Required: Minimum 8 years in SAP FI with a strong focus on Asset Accounting

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant with deep expertise in Asset Accounting (FI-AA) to support Fixed Assets updates for SGK entities operating in multi-currency environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in asset revaluation, disposal, creation, and data migration using LSMW, along with strong coordination skills for quality testing and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute asset accounting processes including new asset creation, revaluation, transfer, and disposal in SAP FI-AA.
• Support Fixed Asset updates for SGK entities across multiple currencies, ensuring compliance with accounting and valuation standards.
• Perform data migration tasks using LSMW for asset recreation and disposal activities.
• Collaborate with business and valuation teams to ensure field mapping alignment for asset data with VRC (external valuation consultants).
• Coordinate and support quality testing efforts with the internal Fixed Assets team, ensuring functional integrity and data accuracy.
• Review and validate asset master data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system-related issues or discrepancies tied to asset accounting transactions and reports.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for configurations, mappings, and business process flows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI with a focus on Asset Accounting (FI-AA).
• Strong understanding of multi-currency asset valuation, depreciation areas, and asset lifecycle management.
• Proficient in LSMW for mass asset data uploads, transfers, and disposals.
• Experience working in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.
• Familiarity with asset revaluation processes and external consultant collaboration (e.g., VRC).
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setup while effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience working with external valuation providers or compliance teams.
• Basic knowledge of tax reporting or IFRS standards relevant to asset accounting.
