Job summary

Logic Planet in India is seeking a dedicated SAP finance specialist to design, configure, test, deploy, and support tax and compliance solutions within SAP. You will provide production support, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and system enhancements to keep the landscape compliant and efficient.

Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Procurement, and IT teams across Europe, GCC, North America, LATAM, and APAC to optimize tax processes, implement regulatory changes, and drive solution adoption.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of R2R processes and core accounting principles.
• Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed SAP specifications and documentation.
• Strong collaboration with Finance, Tax, Procurement, and IT teams across regions.

Solution Design & Support

• Design, configure, test, deploy, and support SAP tax and compliance solutions.
• Provide production support, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and system enhancements.
• Support implementation and maintenance of tax-related SAP modules and third-party tax applications.
• Collaborate with internal business stakeholders and Corporate IT teams to optimize tax processes and solution adoption.
• Participate in global compliance and digital reporting initiatives across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and user training materials.
• Drive continuous improvement opportunities and recommend technology solutions to enhance compliance processes.

Business & Stakeholder Management

• Work with Finance, Tax, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to understand business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Partner with global teams across Europe, GCC, North America, LATAM, and APAC regions.
• Support project implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and regulatory changes.

Skill Requirements

Must Have

• Strong Accounting and Finance process knowledge.
• Understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
• Knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and create detailed documentation.
