Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior SAP FICO professional to join the Global Delivery Services IT Advisory team. The role involves working on SAP Finance implementations across global clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering value through strong domain expertise in FI and CO modules.

The candidate should have a background in SAP Finance, be comfortable with client-facing engagements, and contribute to successful project delivery within EY’s inclusive and diverse culture.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of SAP Finance experience in end-to-end implementations, rollouts or supports.
• Experience with SAP FI-GL, CO-PA, FI-AP, FI-AR, and Asset Accounting.
• Exposure to SAP Simple Finance and integration with MM/SD/HR/PS.
• Prior client-facing consulting experience preferred.
• SAP FICO certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in multiple SAP Implementation projects and contribute effectively.
• Interface with onsite coordinators and report progress.
• Manage tasks, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery with status updates.
• Oversee team performance and ensure tools and support are available for success.
• Collaborate on optimizing processes and driving project outcomes.

Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

The Opportunity

Associate/Senior Associate in the IT Advisory Services team to work on various SAP Implementation projects for our customers across the globe.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Need to work as a team member in different phases of various ongoing SAP Implementation Projects and contribute effectively.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators.
• Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the manager/lead.
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Knowledge of SAP – BPC (Consolidation), Special purpose ledger, SOX, US GAAP, Various of Exits, Background on the Technical and Functional upgrade, Report painter, Report writer etc.

Ideally, you’ll also

• Experience on FIORI APPS, BO-DS, BW, HANA and other reporting tools.
• Prior client facing consulting experience.
• SAP Finance/Controlling Certification is a plus.

What We Look For

• CA/ICWA (ICMA)/MBA Finance in a reputed institution with a sound industry/domain experience and SAP relevant experience with 3-7 years.
• Experience should be in End-to-end Implementation, Rollout, Support, upgrade, enhancements in the below areas.
• SAP Finance – FI- New General Ledger & Profit Center Accounting, FI-Accounts Payable, FI-Bank accounting and FI-Asset Accounting.
• Exposure on SAP Simple Finance – GL Accounting, Asset Accounting and CO – Overhead Cost Controlling & Profitability Analysis.
• SAP Finance – Taxation and Withholding Taxes.
• SAP Finance – Closing activities, Validations and Substitutions & Reporting.
• Controlling- CO-Cost element accounting CO-Cost Center Accounting and CO-Internal Orders.
• Knowledge on CO-PA & Product Costing (Planning and cost object controlling).
• FI integration with MM, SD, HR & PS.
• Excellent business communication skills.
