Job summary

EY seeks an Associate/Senior Associate in IT Advisory to work on SAP Implementation projects for clients worldwide from Bengaluru. You will collaborate with onshore teams and contribute to end-to-end SAP Finance/CO deployments.

The role requires 3–7 years of SAP Finance experience with FI-GL, CO, and reporting tools like BPC, BW, BO-DS, and HANA. Client-facing skills and SAP Finance/Controlling certification are valued.

Qualifications

• End-to-end SAP Finance implementations with client delivery experience.
• Experience in FI-GL, Profit Center Accounting and FSCM processes.
• Knowledge of SAP Taxation, Withholding Taxes and CO-PA.
• Strong business communication and client-facing skills.
• SAP Finance/Controlling certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team on SAP implementation projects for global clients.
• Interface with onsite coordinators and report progress regularly.
• Assist in task completion, risk mitigation and resource management.
• Allocate tasks, supervise team members and optimize performance.
• Ensure team has tools and support to succeed.

The Opportunity

Associate/Senior Associate in the IT Advisory Services team to work on various SAP Implementation projects for our customers across the globe.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Need to work as a team member in different phases of various ongoing SAP Implementation Projects and contribute effectively.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators.
• Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the manager/lead.
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Knowledge of SAP – BPC (Consolidation), Special purpose ledger, SOX, US GAAP, Various of Exits, Background on the Technical and Functional upgrade, Report painter, Report writer etc.

Ideally, you’ll also

• Experience on FIORI APPS, BO-DS, BW, HANA and other reporting tools.
• Prior client facing consulting experience.
• SAP Finance/Controlling Certification is a plus.

What We Look For

• CA/ICWA (ICMA)/MBA Finance in a reputed institution with a sound industry/domain experience and SAP relevant experience with 3-7 years.
• Experience should be in End-to-end Implementation, Rollout, Support, upgrade, enhancements in the below areas.
• SAP Finance – FI- New General Ledger & Profit Center Accounting, FI-Accounts Payable, FI-Bank accounting and FI-Asset Accounting.
• Exposure on SAP Simple Finance – GL Accounting, Asset Accounting and CO – Overhead Cost Controlling & Profitability Analysis.
• SAP Finance – Taxation and Withholding Taxes.
• SAP Finance – Closing activities, Validations and Substitutions & Reporting.
• Controlling- CO-Cost element accounting CO-Cost Center Accounting and CO-Internal Orders.
• Knowledge on CO-PA & Product Costing (Planning and cost object controlling).
• FI integration with MM, SD, HR & PS.
• Excellent business communication skills.
