Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) seeks an experienced SAP FICO (Group Reporting) Consultant to lead design, configuration, and implementation of enterprise consolidation solutions across SAP S/4HANA. Strong expertise in Group Reporting, consolidation processes, and reporting is required.

The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end Group Reporting implementations, handle intercompany processes, and deliver AO-based reporting. Travel to client locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 8-14 years of SAP experience with consolidation and Group Reporting.
• Hands-on with 4-5 years of SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
• Experience delivering 3-4 end-to-end S/4HANA Group Reporting implementations.
• Strong expertise in SAP FICO and S/4HANA (v1809+).
• Knowledge of intercompany processes, currency translation, and consolidation.

We are looking for an experiencedSAP FICO (Group Reporting) Consultantwith strong expertise inSAP S/4HANA Group Reporting and SAP Business Planning & Consolidationto lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of enterprise consolidation solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience across end-to-endS/4HANA Group Reporting implementations, consolidation processes, financial reporting, master data, data loading, intercompany processes, and month-end activities. The role also requires strong stakeholder-management capabilities and the ability to engage effectively with senior customer stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and configuration ofSAP S/4HANA Group Reportingsolutions based on business and consolidation requirements.
• Participate in and deliver end-to-endSAP S/4HANA Group Reporting implementations.
• Engage with finance, accounting, and other functional teams to understand requirements and finalise solution designs.
• Configure consolidation processes includingcurrency translation, intercompany elimination, reclassifications, and investment consolidation.
• Configure and maintainIntercompany Matching & Reconciliationprocesses.
• Design and configure reporting rules, hierarchies, breakdown categories, sections, and sub-item mappings.
• Manage master data, data loading, and month-end consolidation activities.
• Support consolidation of investments usingrule-based COI and ABC COIapproaches.
• Develop and maintainAnalysis for Office (AO)reports covering Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, and custom analytical requirements.
• Develop ad-hoc financial reports and analytical queries using relevantFiori applications.
• Leverage SAP Best Practices and relevantSAP Activate Group Reporting contentduring solution design and implementation.
• Monitor and manage production support tickets and ensure timely resolution within agreed SLAs.
• Analyse functional issues, identify root causes, provide solution estimates, and coordinate issue resolution.
• Prepare detailedfunctional specificationsfor new developments, enhancements, and change requests.
• Coordinate with technical and development teams to ensure successful implementation of functional requirements.
• Support testing, validation, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Provide functional guidance and solution recommendations for complex business requirements.
• Monitor ongoing finance and consolidation processes and proactively identify potential issues.
• Lead and mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and delivery excellence.
• Interact with customer leadership and senior stakeholders to communicate solutions, progress, risks, and recommendations.
• Travel to customer/project locations as required for implementation and project delivery.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• 8-14 years of relevant SAP experience, with strong expertise in SAP Business Planning & Consolidation and Group Reporting.
• 4-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
• Proven experience delivering3-4 end-to-end S/4HANA Group Reporting implementations.
• Strong hands-on expertise inSAP FICO and S/4HANA, preferably version 1809 or above.
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation and reporting processes.
• Hands-on configuration experience incurrency translation, intercompany elimination, reclassifications, intercompany matching and reconciliation, and investment consolidation.
• Strong experience withAnalysis for Office (AO)reporting, including Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, and custom analytical reports.
• Experience with Fiori-based reporting, ad-hoc reporting, reporting rules, and financial hierarchies.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Best Practices and relevant Group Reporting scope items.
• Experience withSAP Activate Group Reportingmethodology and best-practice content.
• Ability to design and configure complex business scenarios independently.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, solution design, functional specifications, testing, and production support.
• Experience coordinating with technical teams to deliver enhancements and resolve complex issues.
• Strong SLA-driven incident management and problem-solving capabilities.
• 1-2 years of team-leadership experiencewith the ability to guide consultants and coordinate delivery.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to interact confidently withcustomer top management and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• CA, ICWA, MBA, M.Com, or another relevant postgraduate qualificationis preferred.
• SAP S/4HANA or Group Reporting certification is an advantage.
• Exposure toSAP Analytics Cloud Planningis an added advantage.
• Strong team-player mindset with the ability to work effectively in complex, client-facing environments.
