Job summary

Tekskills in India is seeking an experienced SAP FI SME Consultant for Hybrid roles in Hyderabad/Bangalore. The candidate will manage core financial accounting functions, GL, A/P, A/R, and asset accounting within SAP FI, ensuring integration with CO, MM, SD, PP, and external systems.

The role requires 12+ years of SAP experience, strong analytical skills, budgeting/forecasting, regulatory reporting, and project management, with emphasis on global settings, governance, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of SAP FI experience and SME level expertise.
• Proficient in G/L, A/P, A/R, and Asset Accounting within SAP FI.
• Strong integration knowledge with CO, MM, SD, PP, PS and external systems.

Responsibilities

• Configure global settings, enterprise structure, G/L, A/P, A/R, and Asset Accounting.
• Manage SAP FI core functions including bank accounting, reporting, and fixed assets.
• Demonstrate deep functional and technical SAP FI expertise across modules.
• Ensure seamless data flow through integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Perfrom financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Support regulatory compliance and reporting (MEC, YEC, passthrough).
• Engage in financial modeling and strategic planning.
• Apply accounting principles and contribute to project management.

Role & responsibilities

• Configures global settings, enterprise structure, general ledger (G/L), accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and asset accounting.
• Manages SAP's core financial accounting functions, including bank accounting, reporting, and fixed asset management.
• Deep functional and technical expertise in modules like G/L, A/P, A/R, and Asset Accounting.
• Understanding how SAP FI integrates with other SAP modules (like CO, MM, SD, PP, PS) and with external systems, ensuring seamless data flow. Should have integration experience.
