Job summary

Alstom Transport India Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a Solution Specialist - Accounting (SAP FI) to join our ERP core team. You will design, build and test SAP FI solutions (GL, AR, AP, BK, TA) across modules, ensuring smooth localization and integration with CO, MM and SD.

The role requires deep SAP FI knowledge, ABAP debugging, IDOC, LSMW, Fiori/HANA, and the ability to collaborate with international teams in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering or a related field.
• More than 6 years of experience in SAP-ERP solutions.
• Deep functional knowledge in SAP ECC6 Finance modules.
• Experience in implementing FI GL (General Ledger), FI AP (Accounts Payable), FI AR (Accounts Receivable), FI BK (Bank Accounting), FI AA (Asset Management), FI TA (Tax Accounting), and annual/monthly closing processes.
• Knowledge of Controlling (CO) and integration with SD and MM modules.
• Technical understanding of IDOC, LSMW, ABAP debugging, queries, and technologies such as Fiori, HANA database, and PI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, worldwide, and multicultural environment.
• Agility to handle multiple tasks efficiently while keeping the big picture in focus.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (key users, regional process experts, business process owners, solution experts, support teams, and data & development factories), assess and define project scopes, and much more. You’ll specifically take care of designing, building, and testing solutions (core, localization, authorization, batch) while ensuring knowledge transfer to run teams, but also support key users.

We’ll look to you for:
