Responsibilities

• Act as the technical third-level contact for SAP EWM issues and development topics.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement SAP EWM solutions within the landscape.
• Independently analyze and resolve technical incidents, defects, and service requests.
• Perform ABAP development, enhancements, debugging, and technical corrections in SAP EWM and connected modules.
• Support configuring-related implementations from a technical perspective and ensure reliable system behavior within the KION EWM template.
• Develop and support interfaces, reports, forms, extensions, and custom objects for warehouse operations.
• Support testing activities and ensure smooth implementation of system updates, transports, and changes.
• Contribute to ongoing optimization, reliability, and maintainability of warehouse management processes.

The SAP EWM Developer is responsible for providing technical expertise and development support for the KION SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) environment. The role ensures that warehouse processes and system solutions are supported by robust, scalable, and maintainable technical implementations. We offer: The position focuses on analyzing technical requirements, designing and developing SAP EWM-based solutions, implementing enhancements, supporting the resolution of complex incidents and defects, and continuously improving the technical performance and usability of the SAP EWM landscape.

The role works closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, internal service teams, and external partners to deliver sustainable technical solutions and support operational stability.

Technical development and enhancements:

• 35% Incident analysis, debugging, and defect fixing
• 20% Technical design and implementation support
• 15% Testing and deployment support
• 10% Interface/integration development and support
• 10% Documentation and continuous improvement

Tasks and Qualifications:

• Act as a technical third-level contact for the global business and internal teams regarding SAP EWM-related system issues and development topics. (10%)
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions within the SAP EWM landscape. (25%)
