Job summary

KION Group is seeking an SAP EWM Consultant to provide functional expertise for the SAP Extended Warehouse Management environment. You will work with global stakeholders and internal service teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP EWM solutions that meet business needs and enhance warehouse operations.

The role emphasizes incident resolution, requirement analysis, and ongoing improvement of warehouse processes within the KION EWM template, supporting system updates and testing cycles.

Responsibilities

• Act as a second-level contact for the global business regarding SAP EWM-related questions and issues.
• Independently analyze and resolve warehouse-related incidents and service requests within the warehouse application landscape.
• Ensure high service quality and operational stability in line with defined internal KPIs and service standards.
• Analyze business requirements and design appropriate SAP EWM solutions.
• Perform SAP EWM customizing activities within the KION EWM template to support operational requirements and continuous improvements.
• Support testing activities, including test preparation, execution, defect analysis, and documentation.
• Support the smooth implementation of system updates, changes, and enhancements.
• Contribute to the ongoing optimization, reliability, and usability of warehouse management processes.

Job description

The SAP EWM Consultant provides functional expertise and consulting support for the KION SAP Extended Warehouse Management environment. The position ensures that warehouse processes and SAP solutions effectively support business requirements and operational needs

• Operational SAP EWM support and incident resolution: 35%
• Business requirement analysis and solution design: 20%
• SAP EWM customizing and process optimization: 15%

• Stakeholder coordination, documentation, and continuous improvement: 15%

Tasks And Qualifications
