Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an experienced SAP DRC Consultant for onsite Mumbai to manage statutory compliance using SAP DRC across geographies, focusing on India. The role requires 5–7 years of SAP experience with SAP DRC and strong knowledge of SAP SD or FI, including e-Invoicing, e-Way Bill, GST reporting and S/4HANA/ECC integration.

You will drive implementation and rollout of DRC solutions, coordinate with business and technical teams, and ensure accurate documentation, testing, and go-live

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of SAP experience with strong hands‑on in SAP DRC / SAP Document Compliance.
• Strong functional knowledge in either SAP SD or SAP FI.
• Experience with India localization including E‑ invoicing, E‑Way Bill, GST reporting.
• Experience in S/4HANA or ECC landscape.
• Good understanding of communication with GSPs or tax authorities.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP / CPI integration is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Client‑facing experience preferred.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) Consultant with 5–7 years of experience and a strong functional background in SAP SD or SAP FI. The candidate will be responsible for enabling and managing statutory compliance processes using SAP DRC across multiple geographies (especially India), including e-Invoicing, e-Way Bill, and statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP DRC & Compliance
• Configure and support SAP DRC / SAP Document Compliance for local statutory requirements (e-Invoicing, e-Way Bill, VAT/GST reporting).
• Implement end-to-end DRC solutions for global and local compliance requirements.
• Work on integration between SAP ECC / S/4HANA and SAP DRC (Cloud or On-Prem).
• Manage document types, report mapping, format mapping, and compliance processes.
• Work on end‑to‑end SD or FI processes impacted by statutory changes:
• For SD: Billing, Tax determination, Pricing, Output management, and e-Invoicing flows.
• For FI: AR/AP, Tax codes, Withholding tax, and statutory accounting postings.
• Understand business scenarios and map them to system configurations.
• Perform impact analysis for statutory changes and recommend system solutions.

Implementation & Support

• Work on DRC implementation and rollout for new countries.
• Conduct requirement gathering, blueprinting, and solution design workshops.
• Coordinate with technical teams for custom developments and integrations.
• Support testing cycles – Unit, Integration, UAT.
• Prepare documentation: Functional Specs, Configuration Docs, and User Training materials.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a bridge between business, process owners, and technical teams.
• Provide consulting guidance to clients on legal compliance and best practices.
• Support go‑live and hypercare phases.

• 5–7 years of SAP experience with strong hands‑on in SAP DRC / SAP Document Compliance.
