Job summary

Insight Global seeks a lead SAP Datasphere Architect to design and implement integration initiatives across Finance, Supply Chain, and Enterprise Data. You will build inbound/outbound integrations between Datasphere, SAP systems, and non-SAP platforms, including Azure-based data environments, and define patterns for data movement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP data platform experience with SAP Datasphere focus
• Experience designing end-to-end integration architectures between SAP Datasphere and SAP systems
• Hands-on experience configuring Datasphere Connections, Spaces, security models, roles/authorizations
• Deep understanding of Datasphere connectors and integration technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning across Datasphere, SAC, BW/4HANA
• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA ADSOs & Composite Providers
• Hands-on delta load implementation & troubleshooting
• Integrating hierarchies from BW/4HANA and S/4HANA into Datasphere
• SAP HANA Calculation Views and ABAP CDS Views experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technical architect and developer for SAP Datasphere integration initiatives across Finance, Supply Chain, and Enterprise Data
• Design, build, and optimize inbound and outbound integrations between Datasphere, SAP systems, and non-SAP platforms including Azure-based data environments
• Define integration architecture, connector strategy, and data movement patterns for new business initiatives
• Enable and optimize SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) connectivity with Datasphere and BW/4HANA environments
• Partner with enterprise architects, data engineering teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Lead troubleshooting efforts across integrations, connectors, data pipelines, and reporting platforms
• Conduct architecture design reviews and establish best practices for performance, security, and maintainability
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers while maintaining ownership of deliverables from design through production deployment
• Act as the subject matter expert on SAP Datasphere integration capabilities, connector technologies, and enterprise data architecture

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of SAP data platform experience with at least 1+ year focused on SAP Datasphere architecture and development

Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end integration architectures between SAP Datasphere and SAP systems including S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAC

Hands-on experience configuring Datasphere Connections, Spaces, security models, roles/authorizations, and connectivity frameworks

Deep understanding of Datasphere connectors and integration technologies used to connect SAP and non-SAP systems

Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning experience across Datasphere, SAC, BW/4HANA, and source systems

Experience with SAP BW/4HANA object types including ADSOs and Composite Providers

Hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting delta load processes

Experience integrating hierarchies from BW/4HANA and S/4HANA into SAP Datasphere

Experience developing and optimizing SAP HANA Calculation Views and ABAP CDS Views

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Replication Flow expertise, including initial loads, delta handling, source-side triggers, and optimization

SAC Live and Import Connection experience with an understanding of SAC planning capabilities

Experience enabling bi-directional integrations between SAC and Datasphere using SAP APIs and integration services

Exposure to Datasphere integration patterns leveraging Azure Data Lake as an enterprise source-of-truth platform

Experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing Datasphere connector technologies for complex business requirements

SAP BW/HANA modeling, optimization, and migration experience

Exposure to SAC AI initiatives, proof-of-concepts, or advanced analytics use cases
