# SAP Data Migration Lead — S/4HANAGlobal Manufacturing GroupHybrid · Gurugram ₹35–50L 49 days ago 8 interestedSAPS/4HANAData MigrationABAP## Job DescriptionA global manufacturing group with operations across India, Europe and the US is hiring an SAP Data Migration Lead to manage the data migration workstream of their SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. You will own the strategy, tooling and execution of migrating 20+ years of legacy SAP ECC data into S/4HANA, working with business teams, SAP functional consultants and technical architects.Role & Responsibilities:• Lead the end-to-end data migration strategy for the S/4HANA programme: scoping, tooling selection, mapping, cleansing and cutover• Design and execute data migration using SAP Data Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM) and ABAP migration programmes• Build data extraction, transformation and loading scripts for master data (materials, vendors, customers) and transactional data (open items, stock, orders)• Define and execute data quality assessment, cleansing and enrichment activities with business data owners• Manage migration testing cycles: unit test, integration test, mock migration and dress rehearsal cutover• Build and maintain migration project documentation: data mapping specs, issue logs, sign-off records and cutover runbooks• Coordinate with SAP functional consultants, BASIS team and business stakeholders on migration dependencies• Report migration programme status to the project steering committeeRequired Skills & Experience:• 6+ years of SAP data migration experience including at least one S/4HANA go-live• Deep expertise with SAP Data Migration Cockpit (LTMC), SAP BODS or SAP Information Steward• Strong ABAP reading skills for migration programme debugging; ABAP development is a plus• Experience migrating core S/4HANA objects: FI open items, MM stock and POs, SD orders, PP production orders• Understanding of S/4HANA data model simplifications vs ECC (e.g. ACDOCA universal journal, material ledger)• Strong project management skills — you have managed a migration workstream independently• SAP Certified Associate or Professional in a relevant module is preferredWhat We Offer:• Hybrid role — Gurugram office with travel to European and US sites during key programme phases• Salary ₹35–50L based on experience• Long-term programme engagement (2–3 years) with a globally recognised manufacturing brand• Exposure to a complex, multi-entity S/4HANA transformation at genuine enterprise scaleA senior SAP data migration role for an experienced practitioner ready to lead a high-visibility workstream on a flagship ERP transformation.
