Forward Eye Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Architect Tech Lead to drive end-to-end data migration initiatives across multiple ERP landscapes in India. You will lead architecture decisions, oversee discovery through go-live, and work with ERP functional consultants to translate business needs into technical strategies.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Architect Tech Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in data integration/data migration projects, with at least 5 years of leading SAP ERP data migration projects using ETL approaches. You will be responsible for providing end-to-end solutions for data migration projects, from discovery to go-live, working closely with ERP functional consultants and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead SAP ERP data migration projects in an Architect capacity using ETL approaches for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation processes.
• Provide overall architecture solutions for data migration projects, ensuring smooth execution from discovery through go-live.
• Participate in the data migration strategy, including environment and infrastructure planning.
• Hands-on proficiency in any industry-standard ETL tool, with a strong emphasis on SAP BODS.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring all stakeholders understand the technical aspects of the data migration process.
• Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Provide effort estimation and planning for the ERP data migration lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with excellent listening skills, ensuring all project requirements and updates are clearly understood.
• Prior experience in customer interfacing roles and leading AMS projects is advantageous.

Qualifications :

• At least 12+ years of overall experience in data integration/data migration projects.
• At least 5+ years of experience leading SAP ERP data migration projects in an Architect capacity using ETL approaches.
• Excellent understanding of the ERP Data Migration Lifecycle, effort estimation, and planning.
• Must have excellent knowledge of SAP BODS.
• Hands-on proficiency in any industry-standard ETL tool, particularly SAP BODS.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Proven experience working closely with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prior working experience in customer interfacing roles is required.
• Prior AMS Lead experience is an advantage.
