Job summary

NTT DATA Services is seeking a SAP CPI Integration Suite Architect to lead complex integration programs across Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. You will drive architectural decisions, deliver iFlows, APIs, and adapters, and coordinate with business and technical teams to ensure seamless S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and Ariba integrations.

The role requires 10+ years in SAP integration, with 5+ years as a lead/architect, and strong hands-on CPI, API Management, and S/4HANA expertise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP integration experience with 5+ years as lead/architect on large-scale projects.
• Experience in Tier-1 organizations with direct client interaction.
• Experience collaborating with clients and business process teams.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Integration Advisor, etc.).
• Strong S/4HANA integration knowledge (on-premise and cloud), interface migration, hybrid-cloud scenarios.
• Proficient in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI): iFlows, adapters, mapping (Graphical/XSLT), Groovy, JMS, IDoc/SOAP/REST/OData.
• Strong SAP API Management skills: API proxies, policies, OpenAPI specs, lifecycle/versioning.
• Knowledge of integration methodologies, enterprise architecture, and patterns.
• Ability to work independently with customers and deliver projects.
• Strong Groovy scripting and troubleshooting for mappings and adapters.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and delivery of SAP CPI integrations across client ecosystems.
• Design and oversee iFlows, APIs, and adapters ensuring performance and security.
• Collaborate with functional/technical teams for seamless SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba integrations.
• Establish integration standards, reusable assets, and governance frameworks.
• Drive CI/CD automation and DevOps practices for integration delivery.

SAP CPI Integration Suite Architect

Basic Qualifications:(Must have)

• Candidate should have 10+ years of SAP integration experience, with at least 5 years as a lead or architect in large-scale integration projects with minimum 3-4 Implementation exposures.
• Should have experience in Tier-1 organization with direct interaction with Clients
• Should have experience in dealing with Clients and Business process teams
• Should have extensive hands‑on expertise in SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Integration Advisor, Trading Partner Management, Open Connector, Integration Assessment, Migration Assessment).
• Should have strong background in S/4HANA integration (on-premise and cloud), interface migration, and hybrid‑cloud scenarios.
• Strong hands‑on in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI): iFlows, adapters, mapping (Graphical/XSLT), Groovy scripting, JMS, IDoc/SOAP/REST/OData.
• Strong hands‑on in SAP API Management: API proxies, policies (OAuth, spike arrest, quotas), OpenAPI specs, lifecycle/versioning.
• Should have deep knowledge of integration methodologies (real‑time, asynchronous, event‑driven, etc.), modern enterprise architecture, and design patterns.
• Should be able to work independently with customers and deliver the project
• Should have strong expertise with Groovy scripts, good Troubleshooting knowledge in Mapping and Adapters connectivity issues
• Should oversee development of iFlows, APIs, and adapters in SAP Integration Suite and ensure optimal configuration, performance tuning, and security compliance and collaborate with functional and technical teams for seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and third‑party systems.
• Should establish integration standards, reusable assets, and governance frameworks.
• Should conduct architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise security and compliance policies.
• Should Drive automation and DevOps practices for integration delivery (CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, etc.).
• Should have good communication skills, deal with clients and explain the solution approach and alternatives
• Must be flexible to work in shifts (non-standard) to provide global coverage to the customer

Nice to Have

• Knowledge/Hands‑on in SAP PI/PO, Dell Boomi, AIF, APIGEE
• SAP Certification in SAP Integration Suite Developer, SAP BTP Solution Architect
• Experience in all SAP functional modules
