Job summary

Magellanic Cloud in Bengaluru is seeking a SAP CPI specialist with 6–9 years of experience. The role is hybrid, with face-to-face interviews at Bangalore location.

You will design and implement end-to-end integration solutions using SAP CPI and PI/PO, leveraging CPI adapters and Groovy scripting. You will migrate existing interfaces to CPI on SAP BTP and work on integrations with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and other third‑party systems.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of relevant experience with SAP CPI/PI/PO integrations.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP CPI/PI/PO integration design and development.
• Experience with CPI adapters including HTTPS, SFTP, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, and AS2.
• Hands-on Groovy scripting, message mapping, content modifiers, routers, filters, and value mapping.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end integration scenarios using SAP CPI and PI/PO.
• Migrate and modernize interfaces from PI/PO to CPI on SAP BTP.
• Develop interface mappings, message transformations, and integration flows (iFlows).
• Work with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and third‑party apps via CPI/PI/PO.

Role & responsibilities:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI/Integration Suite) with strong hands‑on experience in SAP PI/PO integration.
• Experience in designing and developing end-to-end integration scenarios using SAP CPI and PI/PO.
• Strong knowledge of SAP CPI adapters including HTTPS, SFTP, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, and AS2.
• Hands‑on experience with Groovy scripting, message mapping, content modifiers, routers, filters, exception subprocesses, and value mapping.
• Experience in migrating and modernizing SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP CPI on SAP BTP.
• Strong understanding of PI/PO components including ESR, Integration Directory, IDocs, RFCs, SOAP, REST, and proxy interfaces.
• Experience in developing interface mappings, message transformations, and integration flows (iFlows).
• Hands‑on experience integrating SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and third‑party applications using CPI and PI/PO.
• Experience with XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, REST, CSV, and flat‑file formats.
• Knowledge of API management, security, certificates, OAuth, basic authentication, PGP encryption, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Experience in interface monitoring, error handling, troubleshooting, reprocessing, and performance optimization.
• Hands‑on experience in end‑to‑end integration testing, unit testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production support.
• Experience in preparing technical specifications, interface mapping documents, test cases, and integration documentation.
• Good understanding of SAP BTP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, API Management, and Event Mesh concepts.
• Experience working with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
• Good knowledge of SAP Activate methodology, Agile practices, and integration development lifecycle.
