Job summary

Neev is seeking a Senior SAP Controlling (CO) Consultant with 8–10+ years of IT experience and strong end-to-end SAP CO expertise, including S/4HANA environments. You will lead requirement gathering, blueprinting, GAP analysis, and solution building while coordinating with technical teams.

The role demands excellent client-facing communication, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to drive month-end closing cycles across CO modules in a hybrid, PAN India setup.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of cumulative IT experience specializing in SAP Controlling (CO).
• EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills with proven client-facing experience.
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA differences vs ECC (e.g., Universal Journal integration, Material Ledger enhancements, CO-PA architecture).
• Hands-on participation in at least 2+ full-cycle implementations, roll-outs, or major support/enhancement projects from requirement gathering to Go-Live.

Responsibilities

• Core SAP CO Modules: CO-OM-CCA, EC-PCA, CO-PC for MTS and MTO, ML and CO-PA including Report Painter and Top-Down Distribution.
• Month-End Closing Excellence: lead and troubleshoot CO month-end tasks including WIP, variance analysis, and settlement.
• Specialized CO Scenarios: overhead management, additive costing, job costing, batch costing, joint/ co-product costing, origin groups.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior SAP Controlling (CO) Consultant with a strong track record of end-to-end implementations and business process re-engineering. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise across core and advanced SAP CO modules, exceptional stakeholder communication skills, and hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA environments. You will lead requirement gathering, solution building, gap analysis, and month-end closing cycles while coordinating closely with technical teams.

Mandatory Requirements & Core Skills

• Experience: 8–10+ years of cumulative IT experience specializing in SAP Controlling (CO).
• Communication: EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills with proven ability in client-facing roles, blueprinting, and user training.
• SAP S/4HANA Knowledge: Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA differences compared to ECC (e.g., Universal Journal integration, Material Ledger enhancements, CO-PA architecture).
• Project Lifecycle: Hands-on participation in at least 2+ full-cycle implementations, roll-outs, or major support/enhancement projects from requirement gathering to Go-Live.

Key Responsibilities

• Core SAP CO Modules:
• General Controlling, Cost Center Accounting (CO-OM-CCA), and Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA).
• Product Costing (CO-PC) covering Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) scenarios.
• Material Ledger (ML) and profitability analysis (CO-PA), including Report Painter, CO-PA Realignment, and Top-Down Distribution.
• Month-End Closing Excellence: Expert execution and troubleshooting of month-end closing tasks in CO, including Work in Process (WIP) calculation, Variance Analysis, and Order/Project Settlement.
• Specialized CO Scenarios:
• Overhead management (Overhead keys, Overhead groups).
• Advanced costing methods: Additive costing, Job costing, Batch costing, Mixed costing, Joint product, By-product, and Co-product costing.
• Origin groups and Auxiliary Cost Component structures.
• Cross-Functional Integration: Seamless integration of SAP CO with FI, MM, SD, PP, and PM modules, alongside integration with BW or BI.
• Project Delivery & Methodology:
• Lead Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Solution Building, Blueprinting, and GAP Analysis.
• Design and execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and prepare comprehensive user manuals and training documentation.
• Manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously to meet rigorous delivery schedules.
• Technical Coordination & Interfaces: Collaborate with technical teams for custom object development, and handle interface configurations including RFC connections and Background Job Tools.
