Job summary

EY Consulting is a fast-moving, high-growth area, and we are recruiting a SAP CO Senior Consultant to join our SAP Finance team. You will lead design, configuration and implementation of management accounting solutions, focusing on Universal Journal, product costing, Margin Analysis, and Material Ledger.

You will work across CO modules, including CO-Cost Center, COPA and integration with MM, SD, PP & PS, collaborating with clients to design workshops and deliver end-to-end SAP CO solutions for

Qualifications

• CA / ICWA / ICMA / MBA Finance with SAP CO experience (3–7 years).
• Experience in leading blueprint, requirements gathering and designing SAP-enabled solutions.
• End-to-end SAP CO implementations, rollouts, upgrades and support.

Responsibilities

• Lead design workshops and document business requirements for CO modules.
• Configure SAP CO modules including Cost Center, Profit Center, COPA and Product Costing.
• Ensure integration with MM, SD, PP and PS and provide client-facing consultancy.

Our Technology Consulting team is focused on helping clients improve operational efficiency and security, while also reducing costs and managing risk.

In this role we are looking for an experienced SAP CO Senior Consultant to join our growing SAP Finance team. As an Senior Consultant for SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) you will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and implementation of management accounting solutions, specifically focusing on the core CO modules including Universal Journal, product cost planning and controlling, Margin Analysis, and Material Ledger, ensuring accurate cost flows and profitability reporting

Your Key Responsibilities

• The primary function of this position is to work as a team member in different phases of various ongoing SAP Implementation Projects and contribute effectively to the area of SAP S4 HANA CO-Cost center and profit center Accounting, COPA, Marginal Analysis, Product Costing and Material Ledger with a preferred background in the relevant industry.
• The Specialist will work in the implementation of all the above modules as part of the S4HANA Finance Transformation project, ensuring seamless integration with other third‑party systems.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators.
• Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the manager/lead

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements independently (Mandatory skill)
• Ability to drive design workshops independently with the client (Mandatory skill)
• Must be able to prepare the materials for the design workshops independently (Mandatory skill)
• Must send out the Meeting Minutes of the Workshop post each workshop that he/she leads (Mandatory skill)
• Follow up on the action items from the workshops
• Experience on FIORI APPS, BO-DS, BW, HANA and other reporting tools.
• Prior client facing consulting experience.
• SAP Finance/Controlling Certification is a plus

What we look for

• Candidate must be a qualified CA / ICWA / ICMA/ MBA Finance in a reputed institution with a sound industry/domain experience and SAP relevant experience with 3 to 7 years in CO.
• Experience with leading business blueprint, gathering and documenting business requirements and designing SAP enabled solutions
• Development of project documentation including business process flows, training materials, requirements gathering and project management methodology experience required
• Experience should be in End-to-end Implementation, Rollout, Support, upgrade, enhancements in the below areas.
• Controlling- CO-Cost Center Accounting, CO-Profit Center Accounting and CO-Internal Orders.
• Hands on experience in CO-Profitability Analysis & Product Costing (Planning and cost object controlling) and Material Ledger Actual Costing.
• CO integration with MM, SD, PP & PS.
• Excellent business communication skills
• Ability to manage end-to-end SAP CO processes and functional teams.
• Strong experience in product costing and cost planning
