Job summary

Daimler AG sucht eine erfahrene BI-Experte:in zur Weiterentwicklung eines zentralen BI-Systems im Bereich Kostenabrechnung. Sie integrieren Daten aus ERP-/Non-ERP-Systemen in eine weltweite BI-Lösung und koordinieren Fachanforderungen mit Finance & Controlling sowie IT-Partnern.

Sie arbeiten agil (SAFe/ Scrum) mit internationalen Stakeholdern, dokumentieren Datenmodelle und Governance und betreuen das DevOps-/Implementierungsteam sowie externe Dienstleister.

Responsibilities

• Weiterentwicklung und Ausbau des zentralen BI-Systems im Bereich Kostenabrechnung.
• Datenintegration aus unterschiedlichen Quellsystemen (ERPs/Non-ERPs) in die globale BI-Lösung.
• Analyse von Anforderungen mit Finance & Controlling-Business Owners und Abstimmung von Machbarkeit.
• Systementwicklung im SAFe-Framework mit internationalen Partnern.
• Koordination von Fachanforderungen mit IT/DevOps für funktionale und daten-technische Integration.
• Erstellung und Test von Berichtsanforderungen mit SAP BW/Analysis for Office/Analytics Cloud.
• Datenverfügbarkeit, -qualität und Governance sicherstellen und im Data Warehouse managen.
• Dokumentation im Data Catalog, Datenmodelle und BI-System-Design pflegen.
• Ansprechpartner für Endanwender bei System- und Reporting-Problemen, insbesondere Monats-/Quartals-/Jahresabschlüsse.

Job description

Aufgaben

Responsibilities:

• Further development and expansion of the central BI system for the area of overhead controlling for the product overhead reporting in Cost ART (Agile Release Train)
• Integration of data from different source systems (ERPs and NonERPs) into our cross-departmental BI solution for Mercedes-Benz Cars worldwide
• Independent analysis and coordination of functional requirements with the respective finance & controlling business owners in a complex environment with regard to feasibility. This also includes the analysis of data sources to be connected and the integration into existing data models
• System development using the SAFe Scaled Agile Framework with international business owners and project partners
• Coordination of the functional requirements with the technical implementation and DevOps team, in order to ensure a functional and data-technical integration.
• Implementation and testing of functional and technical reporting requirements with SAP BW, SAP Analysis for Office and SAP Analytics Cloud by independently creating and controlling user stories with IT and external service providers.
• Analysis of data availability and quality and ensuring this during data integration in the overhead data warehouse and in general operation
• Ensuring compliance with and further development of overarching data governance requirements, such as the documentation in the corporate data catalog, the documentation of the data models and the BI system design
• Managing the IT DevOps Team and external IT developers/service providers
• Key account for our end users with system and reporting problems, especially in relation to monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.

Qualifikationen

Qualifications:

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, economics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in designing, building and operating SAP BW solutions in finance & controlling domain and generally in consulting and coordination as an interface between departments (finance & controlling) & IT
• Domain knowledge in operative cost and budget controlling, especially on operative PLAN and ACTUAL reporting processes
• Ideally, knowledge of the conception of ETL processes (if necessary API's), data modeling and the associated supply of reporting solutions/dashboards
• Open to exploring other Analytics technologies outside of SAP Stack like Microsoft Fabric
• Experience with Azure DevOps desirable
• Experience in the field of user training and training concepts in an international environment
• Experience in agile methods (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) as well as in international and agile project organizations
• Proficient in English
