Job summary

Saaki Argus & Averil Consulting in Bengaluru seeks an experienced SAP BW Expert to design, develop, implement, and support SAP BW solutions leveraging SAP BW, SAP ABAP and SAP BI for robust reporting and analytics.

You will work on InfoObjects, DSOs, InfoCubes, CompositeProviders, transformations, DTPs, process chains, and BEx queries, while delivering production support, documentation, and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP BW/BI experience.
• Strong understanding of BW data modelling.
• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree required; SAP BW/BI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement InfoObjects, DSOs, InfoCubes, and CompositeProviders.
• Develop and maintain BEx queries using BEx Query Designer.
• Design data flows, DTPs, and BW processes.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot data loads and process chains.
• Analyze data loading, transformation, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into SAP BW solutions.
• Develop SAP ABAP programs and user exits as needed for BW.
• Provide production support and resolve incidents.
• Prepare technical specs, data flow docs, and user guides.
• Participate in end-to-end SAP BW project lifecycle.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP BW Expert with strong expertise in SAP BW, SAP ABAP, and SAP BI. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting SAP BW solutions to meet business reporting and analytics requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement InfoObjects, DataStore Objects (DSOs), InfoCubes, CompositeProviders, and other SAP BW objects.
• Develop and maintain BEx queries using BEx Query Designer based on business reporting requirements.
• Design and implement data flows, transformations, Data Transfer Processes (DTPs), and related BW processes.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot data loads and process chains.
• Analyze and resolve data loading, transformation, query, and performance-related issues.
• Work closely with functional and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective SAP BW solutions.
• Develop and enhance SAP ABAP programs, routines, and user exits as required for BW solutions.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, testing, and performance tuning.
• Provide production support and ensure timely resolution of incidents and defects.
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications, process flows, data flow documentation, and user guides.
• Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Ensure adherence to SAP BW development standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW / SAP BI.
• Good knowledge of SAP BW architecture and data modelling.
• Hands-on experience with InfoObjects, DSOs, InfoCubes, CompositeProviders, Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains.
• Strong experience in BEx Query Designer and reporting solutions.
• Good knowledge of SAP ABAP, including debugging, routines, enhancements, and performance optimization.
• Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting BW data loads and process chains.
• Strong understanding of data extraction and integration from SAP and non-SAP source systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with functional and technical teams.

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA modelling and performance optimization.
• Experience with modern SAP reporting and analytics tools.
• Exposure to end-to-end SAP implementation and support projects.

Education

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• SAP BW/BI certification will be an added advantage.
