The role focuses on ABAP/AMDP routines, HANA information models, and ensuring data integrity across BW/HANA landscapes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and delivery excellence are key.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing SAP BW/B4HANA data models and ETL processes.
• Ability to design ABAP/AMDP routines for BW extraction.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA information models and CDS views.
• Experience with SAP HANA performance monitoring and data integrity.
• Familiarity with SAP data sources across PP, PM, MM, SD, COPA.

Mandatory Skills:

• Design and implement SAP BW/B4HANA data models, extractors, transformations and Process chains.
• Develop and optimize SAP BW/B4HANA queries and reports.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Design and implement ABAP/AMDP routine in Transformation and able to write ABAP Function Module for BW Extractors.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SAP BW/B4HANA system performance and data integrity issues.
• Responsible for Design, Development of SAP HANA Information Models.
• Strong experience with SQL Script, Designing Tables, Table Functions & HANA Views (Calc Views).
• Experience with SAP HANA's extended application services.
• Understands the Schemas and Packages in HANA and Transport mechanism.
• Maintain/Support of BI/BW data models, Query, and HANA information models to sustain current and future needs.
• Design/Develop custom data sources based on business requirements in SAP / enhance standard SAP data sources.
• Good understanding on SAP Data (Functional modules like Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, Material Management, Sales & Distribution, Finance and COPA)
• Assist in setting up Ensuring optimal system performance & data integrity.
• Provide knowledge transfer, investigation & troubleshooting of issues requirements.
• Identifying the data in the source environment, Mapping the data to the BW environment and Identifying data quality gaps.
• Developing a plan to close data quality gaps.
• Provide accurate and detailed work effort and time estimates.
• Develop and document test strategies & results.
• Maintain, monitor and develop BI/BW processes

Good to Have:

• Good knowledge on working with SAP Datasphere (DSP) and SAP Analytic Cloud (SAC).
• Knowledge/understanding on SAP Business Data Cloud.
• Good knowledge/understanding of S4HANA Analytics (CDS views).
• Provide technical support and training to end users.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements.
• Quick learning skills/ready to adapt new technologies.
