Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an experienced SAP BW consultant in Chennai to lead full life cycle BW implementations. You will design data models, develop extractions, and create robust reports using BW tools. Strong data analysis, communication across teams, and knowledge of FI/CO extractions from ECC are essential.

Ideal candidates have ~10 years of SAP BW experience with hands-on experience in InfoObjects, InfoSources, and Transformations. ABAP exposure is a plus and will be leveraged for BW routines.

Qualifications

• Around 10 years of SAP BW experience with full life cycle implementations.
• Experience in data modeling, data extraction, and reporting.
• Proficient in InfoObjects, InfoSources, transfer structures, and Transformations.
• Familiar with FI/CO data extraction from ECC.
• Able to communicate across development phases; strong data analysis skills.
• Nice to have ABAP coding skills for BW routines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement BW data models and extraction processes.
• Develop and optimize reports using Query Designer and SAP Office Analytics.
• Create and maintain InfoObjects, InfoSources, Transfer structures, Transformations, DSOs, and SPOs.
• Build data flows from ECC to BW including FI/CO extractions.
• Monitor data loads and manage process chains scheduling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across project phases.
• Provide data analysis and debugging to ensure data quality.
• ABAP routines for BW as applicable.

Role & responsibilities

• Require around 10 years experience in SAP BW.

• Involved in full life cycle implementations of BW, which includes Requirement gathering, Data modeling, Developing, Data extraction and Reporting.

• Extensively worked on designing/creating Info Objects, Info Sources, Transfer structures, Communication structures, Transformations, InfoCubes, Data Store Object (DSO) and SPOs.

• Having precise expertise in understanding the SAP ECC System and created dataflow to BW.

• Performed FI/CO full and delta extraction from ECC.

• Worked extensively on Query Designer in building Queries using Filters, Variables, Structures, Restricted Key Figures, Calculated Key Figures, Conditions, Exceptions and experienced in SAP Office Analysis.

• Knowledge On Open Hub Concept.

• Experience in Data loading, Monitoring and Scheduling using Process Chain.

• Having ability to communicate effectively at all levels of Application Development phases in the Company.

• Strong bug fix and data analysis skills.

• Nice to have ABAP coding skills and experienced in ABAP program and routines in BW.
