Job summary

White Buffalo Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP BW/BPC Embedded specialist with 6–8 years of consulting and technical experience to lead analytics solutions in BW on HANA environments.

The role requires at least 2 full-cycle implementations and a track record as a Technical Architect for 1–2 years, with strong SDLC understanding and hands-on skills in AO, BEx queries and data modelling.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of full-time experience in consulting and SAP BPC Embedded roles.
• At least 2 years of full-time experience in BW on HANA.
• Minimum of 2 full-cycle implementations with analytics production delivery.
• Proven expertise as Technical Architect for 1–2 years.

Responsibilities

• Design FS and TS independently.
• Work with BW on HANA modelling and data flows, query building and administration.
• Lead planning with Planning sequence, AO input sheets and BPFs.
• Support S/4 Extraction and ABAP OO as needed.
• Demonstrate strong SDLC understanding and vizualize process flows.

Job description

6 to 8 Years of full-time experience in Consulting and Technical roles pertaining to SAP BPC Embedded, out of which at least 2 years of full-time experience in BW on HANA A minimum of 2 full cycle implementations and a track record of successfully implementing production of analytics projects in challenging environments Should have a proven expertise as Technical Architect for minimum duration of 1 to 2 years

• Experience on planning with Planning sequence, custom planning functions, AO input sheets and BPFs etc.
• Should have excellent hands-on expertise in using the BW on HANA user interfaces that have been redesigned to support modelling data models and data flows, query building and administration.
• Working with new modelling approaches which lean heavily towards a virtualized data warehouse and mixing SQL based data models from native HANA.
• Good understanding of mixed model scenarios (e.g. BW master data referring to ECC master using HANA views)
• Should have BW on HANA upgrade experience
• Should have thorough/Good knowledge of S/4 Extraction, Data Modelling, BW-ABAP, BEx Queries and Analysis office Workbooks (input sheets) experience
• Should be able to design, prepare FS, TS independently.
• Good understanding and working experience in Analysis office (AO)
• BW-IP and Functions of Planning, Knowledge in FI is added advantage and Knowledge in ABAP Object-oriented is added advantage
• Soft Skills:
• Good Analytical skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Should be having enthusiasm and energy.
• Very good awareness of entire SDLC and processes related to SDLC. Should also be good in visualizing and formulating process flow diagrams.
• Must be willing to work in any shift: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM shift or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM shift (all hours in IST).
