Job summary

TD SYNNEX is seeking a Data Engineer in India to design and build data models and pipelines using SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere. You will develop end-to-end BI solutions, including data modeling, ETL, and reporting, across a SAP-driven data landscape.

You will integrate data from SAP and non-SAP sources, ensure reliable data flows, and optimize performance. Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets are required; familiarity with Power BI or SAP BusinessObjects is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering, data warehousing, or BI development.
• 3–5 years of hands-on SAP BW on HANA and SAP Datasphere.
• 3–5 years in data warehouse or data infrastructure development.
• Experience with SAP data integration techniques (e.g., BDC).
• Experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions: data modeling, ETL, reporting.
• Strong SQL skills and large data handling experience.
• Exposure to Power BI or SAP BO; basic ABAP knowledge.

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer with experience in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere to support the development of data pipelines, data models, and reporting solutions across our business. What You’ll Do

• Support reporting and analytics by delivering clean, structured datasets
• Monitor and optimize performance of data loads, transformations, and queries
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analytics teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or BI development
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SAP BW on HANA and SAP Datasphere
• 3–5 years of experience in data warehouse or data infrastructure development
• Experience with SAP data integration techniques (e.g., BDC)
• Experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions, including: Data modeling ETL / data pipelines Reporting and analytics
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data structures
• Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization
• Nice to Have Exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI or Business Objects
• Basic knowledge of ABAP
