Job summary

ITC Infotech in Bengaluru seeks a Senior SAP ABAP and BW Expert to join our team. You will design and implement BW objects, develop BEx Queries, and optimize data flows across SAP BW/BI environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BEx Queries using BEx Query Designer.
• Design data flows, Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains; monitor BW data loads.
• Analyze and resolve data loading, transformation, reporting, and performance issues.
• Provide production support and document technical specifications and data flows.

We're Hiring: Senior SAP ABAP and BW Expert

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP and BW Expert with strong hands-on expertise in SAP BW, SAP BI, and SAP ABAP to join our team.

• Design and develop InfoObjects, DSOs, InfoCubes, CompositeProviders, and other SAP BW objects.
• Develop and maintain BEx Queries using BEx Query Designer.
• Design and implement data flows, Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot BW data loads and process chains.
• Analyze and resolve data loading, transformation, reporting, and performance issues.
• Work closely with business and functional teams to translate requirements into effective BW solutions.
• Develop and enhance ABAP programs, routines, user exits, and enhancements.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, testing, and performance tuning.
• Provide production support and ensure timely resolution of incidents and defects.
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications, data flows, process documentation, and user guides.
• Participate in the complete lifecycle from requirement analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Follow SAP BW development standards and best practices.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW / SAP BI.
• Strong understanding of SAP BW architecture and data modelling.
• Experience with InfoObjects, DSOs, InfoCubes, CompositeProviders, Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains.
• Strong experience in BEx Query Designer and SAP BW reporting.
• Good knowledge of SAP ABAP, including debugging, routines, enhancements, and performance optimization.
• Experience in BW data load monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of data extraction and integration from SAP and non-SAP source systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA modelling and performance optimization.
• Exposure to modern SAP reporting and analytics tools.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation and support projects.
• SAP BW/BI certification is an added advantage.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
