Job summary

Randstad is seeking an experienced SAP BTP engineer to drive cloud integration initiatives, focusing on Joule, SAP Cloud Identity Services, and Destination Service configuration.

You will build and deploy Joule agents, enable A2A integration between SAP Joule and ServiceNow AI Agent Studio, and ensure secure API bindings with OAuth 2.0 and mutual TLS in distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP BTP engineering experience with Cloud components (Foundry, SAP Cloud Identity Services, Destination Service).
• Experience building and deploying custom Joule agents in Joule Studio and wiring tool definitions to SAP backend systems via OData or REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of API security, authentication and multi-agent orchestration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy SAP BTP-based integrations and agent frameworks across multi-service environments.
• Enable Agent-to-Agent (A2A) integration between SAP Joule and ServiceNow AI Agent Studio, including credential aliasing and handshake validation.
• Ensure secure bindings and authentication (OAuth 2.0, mutual TLS) and optimize API performance for distributed pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate topology designs for engineering and business audiences.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

4+ years of hands-on SAP BTP engineering experience including Cloud

Foundry, SAP Cloud Identity Services, and Destination Service configuration.

• Proven experience building and deploying custom Joule agents in Joule Studio

(pro-code path) with tool definitions wired to SAP backend systems via OData

or REST APIs.

Classification: Internal

• Demonstrated, production experience enabling Agent-to-Agent (A2A)

integration between SAP Joule and ServiceNow AI Agent Studio including

Agent Card authoring, External Agent Provider registration, credential aliasing,

and A2A protocol handshake validation.

• Strong command of agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, or equivalent)

and multi-agent orchestration patterns including delegation, fallback, and

async response handling.

• Solid understanding of API security and authentication: OAuth 2.0, mutual TLS,

SAP IAS trust configurations, and BTP service bindings.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow platform internals - Now Assist AI Agents,

Integration Hub, Flow Designer, and Connection & Credential Aliases.

• Strong grasp of distributed systems design, API performance, and fault-

tolerance patterns relevant to multi-agent pipelines.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex agent

topology designs for both engineering and business audiences.
