Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in Hyderabad, India, is seeking an experienced ABAP on HANA specialist to design and implement SAP BTP/RAP based solutions for S/4HANA. You will work with Functional Teams to interpret business requirements, develop technical objects, and provide ongoing support including RCA and troubleshooting.

The role emphasizes CDS views, OData services, CPI integrations, and Fiori UI, with a focus on future-proof upgrades and ABAP WRICEF delivery.

Qualifications

• ABAP on HANA expertise required.
• Fiori Apps and debugging experience.
• Demonstrated ABAP WRICEF experience.
• Interfaces: ALE/IDOC, BAPI, RFC, Proxy, File.
• Enhancements: User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Spots.
• Conversions: LSMW/DMC.
• Forms: Smart Forms/Cloud Adobe Forms.
• Reports: ALV / Fiori Elements.
• ABAP Objects knowledge.
• Understanding of Retail Industry business processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• SAP Certifications in BTP or SAP Cloud Platform (preferred).

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Understand functional specifications, and develop technical objects accordingly
• Collaborate with the Functional Teams to analyze business requirements, processes, and deliverables
• Provide RCA, troubleshooting and ongoing support
• Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDD) and Unit Test documents (UTD)

Key Qualifying Experience:

• Develop Cloud-Native Solutions on SAP BTP and S/4HANA using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
• Design and implement Clean Core extensions for S/4HANA Private Cloud to ensure future-proof upgrades
• Create optimized Core Data Services (CDS) views, AMDP Procedures and OData services for Fiori UI applications
• Implement integration scenarios using Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), PIPO, API management, REST/SOAP services
• Integrating systems using APIs
