Job summary

BearingPoint offers an exciting SAP BRIM consultant role in India. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end Usage-to-Cash processes, including Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, and FI-CA, while translating complex billing requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP BRIM experience with at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
• Strong expertise in SAP Convergent Charging and Convergent Invoicing, including pricing, rating, and invoicing.
• Solid FI-CA knowledge including contract accounts, posting areas, dunning, and collections.
• Experience integrating BRIM with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills; SAP BRIM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP BRIM components (CC, CI, FI-CA).
• Model pricing and rating scenarios within SAP Convergent Charging.
• Manage contract accounting structures and invoicing in BRIM.
• Configure billable item management, provider contracts, and subscription order management.
• Collaborate with SAP S/4HANA/CRM/ERP landscapes and with development teams.
• Prepare functional specs, configuration docs, and test scripts.

We are looking for an experienced SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) Functional Consultant to join our growing SAP practice in India. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in the end‑to‑end Usage‑to‑Cash process, covering Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, and FI‑CA, with a strong ability to translate complex business billing requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

Primary Functions and Tasks

• Design, configure, and implement SAP BRIM components including Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and Financial Contract Accounting (FI‑CA)
• Model pricing and rating scenarios, including charge plans, price plans, and charging plans within SAP Convergent Charging
• Manage contract accounting structures and execute invoicing processes within an integrated BRIM architecture
• Configure billable item management, provider contracts, and subscription order management
• Support integration of SAP BRIM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP CRM, and SAP ERP landscapes
• Participate in business blueprint workshops, requirement gathering, and solution design sessions
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documentation, and test scripts
• Collaborate with technical developers to deliver BRIM enhancements and custom solutions
• Support UAT, go‑live, and post‑production stabilization activities
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge‑sharing within the team

We are looking for

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on SAP BRIM experience with at least 2 full‑cycle implementations
• Strong expertise in SAP Convergent Charging – charge plans, price plans, rate plans, allowances, and rating logic
• Proficiency in SAP Convergent Invoicing – billable items, invoicing roles (Invoicing Specialist, Invoicing Admin), and revenue sharing/partner settlement
• Solid knowledge of FI‑CA – contract accounts, business partners, posting areas, dunning, and collections
• Experience with BRIM integration with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP
• Strong understanding of subscription‑based and usage‑based billing business processes
• Good documentation skills – functional specs, business blueprints, and test documentation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• SAP BRIM certification is preferred

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM) or SAP Entitlement Management
• Exposure to SAP BTP integration scenarios with BRIM
• Industry background in Telecom, Utilities, Media, or High‑Tech/SaaS
• Familiarity with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)
• Knowledge of Open APIs and Interfaces within the BRIM landscape
