Persistent Systems Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a skilled SAP BO Developer with 7+ years of experience to design, develop, and support enterprise reporting and BI solutions. You will manage universes, WebI reports, and security, collaborating with DB teams and ensuring performance in production environments.

The role emphasizes design and deployment of SAP BO reports, migrations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• BE/MBA/BCA/MCA or equivalent.
• Strong experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BO/BODS) platform.
• Hands-on with Universe Design Tool (UDT), Information Design Tool (IDT).
• Experience in report development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of BO security implementation and administration.
• Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts.
• Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning.

• Develop and optimize Universes using IDT and UDT.
• Create and maintain WebI reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc reporting solutions.
• Perform report migration, enhancement, and performance tuning.
• Gather reporting requirements from business users and translate them into technical solutions.
• Manage SAP BO security, user access, and folder structures.
• Troubleshoot report failures, data discrepancies, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with database teams for SQL optimization.
• Support production deployments and incident resolution.
• Participate in SAP BO upgrades, migrations, and platform administration activities.
• Document technical designs, report specifications, and support procedures.
