Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an SAP BO Developer in Bangalore with 5+ years of hands-on experience. The role requires strong knowledge of SAP Business Objects 4.x, proficiency in SQL/PL-SQL, and demonstrated skills in design, development and deployment across DEV, SIT, UAT and PROD environments.

Data cleansing and performance tuning experience are valued. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, FRD creation, and maintaining BI solutions with robust data validation.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Business Objects 4.x version.
• Experience with requirements gathering, FRD, design, development and implementation across DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD.
• Strong SQL concepts including DML/DDL, joins, aggregates, and keys.
• Experience with tables, views, functions, procedures, triggers, cursors, exceptions, packages and performance tuning.
• PL/SQL query optimization experience is an advantage.
• Experience deploying code across DEV/PROD using central repositories.
• Experience with data cleansing, consolidation and validation.

Job Description:

• Strong hands-on Business Objects 4.x version
• Strong experience on requirements gathering, FRD, design, development and implementation in all environments DEV, SIT, UAT and PROD
• Should be strong enough in SQL concepts like DML, DDL, basic functions, joins, group by, having, primary/foreign keys, etc.
• Good experience with Tables, views, functions, procedures, triggers, cursors, exceptions, packages and performance tuning
• Plan and execute the Design & improve Performance issues by rewriting the PL/SQL queries would be an added advantage
• Deploys code across Dev and Production environments using central repositories
• Develops/Maintains/Supports business rules and process around data cleansing, consolidation and validation, etc.
