Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, is seeking a SAP BI/BW Consultant with 5–10 years of experience to design, develop and support SAP BW/BI solutions.

You will work with ECC/S/4HANA data, build InfoObjects, DSOs/ADSOs, InfoCubes and reporting components, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet analytics requirements. The role requires strong debugging, data reconciliation, and performance optimization skills, plus experience with BW/4HANA, HANA, CDS views, and integration

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW/BI and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with InfoObjects, DSO/ADSO, InfoCubes, CompositeProviders, Transformations, DTPs and Process Chains.
• Experience in SAP data extraction and loading processes and troubleshooting data-load failures.
• Knowledge of BEx Query Designer and BW reporting.
• Understanding of SAP ECC/S/4HANA source systems and ABAP debugging related to BW.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a SAP BI/BW to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).

SAP BI/BW Consultant

Experience: 5–10 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP BW/BI solutions.
• Develop and maintain:
  • InfoObjects
  • DataStore Objects (DSO/ADSO)
  • InfoCubes
  • CompositeProviders
  • MultiProviders
  • Transformations and DTPs
  • Process Chains
• Develop and support data extraction from SAP ECC/S/4HANA and non-SAP source systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot standard and custom DataSources/extractors.
• Monitor daily/periodic data loads, process chains, and reporting jobs.
• Analyze and resolve failed data loads, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.
• Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) for recurring production issues.
• Develop and maintain BEx queries and reporting solutions.
• Work with business users to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Perform data reconciliation and ensure data accuracy between source and reporting systems.
• Support enhancements, change requests, testing, and production deployments.
• Work closely with SAP functional, ABAP, Basis, HANA, and reporting teams.
• Prepare functional/technical specifications, SOPs, RCA documents, and support documentation.
• Handle incidents, service requests, problems, and changes within agreed SLAs.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW/BI.
• Good knowledge of BW data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with InfoObjects, DSO/ADSO, InfoCubes, CompositeProviders, Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains.
• Strong experience in SAP data extraction and loading processes.
• Experience troubleshooting data-load and process-chain failures.
• Knowledge of BEx Query Designer / BW reporting.
• Understanding of SAP ECC/S/4HANA source systems.
• Good knowledge of ABAP debugging related to BW, including routines and transformations.
• Experience with performance optimization and data reconciliation.
• Experience in AMS L2/L3 support and/or implementation projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• For modern SAP BW environments, experience in the following is preferred:

• Analysis for Microsoft Office

• Power BI integration with SAP data sources
