Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking a SAP BDC Senior Associate to drive pricing strategy and profitability analytics for a diverse client portfolio. You will design data products, build data models in SAP Datasphere, and deliver SAC reporting solutions in a client-focused, collaborative environment.

You will mentor others, manage stakeholder expectations, and contribute to digital transformation across Advisory, Assurance, Tax, and Business Services teams.

As a SAP BDC Senior Associate, you will specialize in providing consulting services focused on pricing strategies and profitability analysis. You will analyze pricing models, assess customer profitability, and offer guidance to help clients optimize pricing strategies, improve profitability, and maximize customer value. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to build meaningful client connections, anticipate needs, and navigate complex situations. You will focus on relationship building and managing others, while growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills.

Responsibilities

SAP Business Data Cloud / Datasphere Development

• Design and develop business-ready data products for TPM reporting and analytics use cases.
• Build reusable data models in SAP Datasphere, including:
• Fact and dimension models
• Analytical models
• Measures and calculated measures
• Customer and product hierarchies
• Associations and relationships
• Business semantic layers
• Create harmonized datasets combining TPM, S/4HANA and other relevant enterprise data.
• Preserve business definitions and reporting logic across BDC data products and downstream reporting applications.
• Support data product metadata, documentation, discoverability and reuse.

Reporting & Analytics

• Translate functional and reporting requirements into BDC data models, data products and SAC reporting solutions.
• Develop reporting datasets and dashboards for key trade-promotion processes and KPIs
• Understand the relationship between transactions and underlying S/4HANA financial along with master data such as customer, product and pricing data.
• Work with TPM functional teams and business stakeholders to define reporting measures, dimensions, hierarchies and KPI calculations.

SAP Analytics Cloud Reporting

• Develop and enhance SAC stories, dashboards and analytical applications/reports based on BDC/Datasphere data models.
• Design reporting solutions with appropriate KPIs, measures, dimensions, hierarchies and drill-down capabilities.
• Optimize data models and reports for performance, scalability and usability.
• Support reporting security and role-based data access where required.

Integration & Data Management

• Build and support master data integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Data Cloud / Datasphere, SAP BTP and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Work with S/4HANA master and transactional data including Customer and customer hierarchy, Product/material hierarchy, Material master, Pricing and condition data, Financial and settlement data, Claims and deductions, Trade promotion and trade-spend-related data
• Work with appropriate data integration patterns including replication, federation and batch-based data integration.
• Perform data reconciliation and validation between source systems, BDC data models and reporting outputs.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and integrity across reporting objects.

Technical Delivery

• Translate business and TPM reporting requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
• Partner with TPM functional consultants, S/4HANA teams, data architects and reporting stakeholders.
• Conduct unit testing, data reconciliation and technical validation of BDC and SAC solutions.
• Follow SAP BDC, Datasphere, SAC and BTP development best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimations and technical design discussions.
• Prepare technical documentation including data mappings, model designs, KPI definitions and integration specifications.
• Support UAT, defect resolution, deployments and production stabilization.
• Hands-on exposure to SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and its data and analytics capabilities.
• Strong experience in SAP Datasphere data modeling, semantic modeling and data integration.
• Hands-on experience developing SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards, stories and analytical reports.
• Experience integrating SAP data from S/4HANA and other SAP/non-SAP sources.
• 1+ year of experience working with Trade Promotion Management / Trade Spend Management data or reporting use cases.
