Responsibilities

• SAP Basis & Security Technical for Traditional AMS Services; Excellent Communication skills.


• Worked on Support projects, upgrades/OS/DB migrations.


• Hands‑on experience in AMS Projects/tickets and minimum of 3 end‑to‑end BW implementations.


• Minimum 7‑9 years of hands‑on work experience.


• SAP Administration, support packages, printer configuration, BEx installation, Solution Manager.


• Support ECC, PI, BW, APO, GATP, BODS systems.


• Azure, cloud, Sybase & MAXDB database knowledge (good to have).


• Planning and executing database upgrades, verification, Oracle parameter review and performance optimization.


• Setting up SAP Logon groups, configuring SAP router, OSS configuration.


• Offline/online backups at SAP level, backup tape naming conventions, database restoration and recovery.


• Planning and managing support packages and kernel patch upgrades; client copies/transports.


• Managing database upgrades, database verification, Oracle parameter review, EWA configuration.


• Designing, setting up and reorganizing SAP system landscapes; defining SOPs for backups and restoration; change management.


• Monitoring CBO statistics, automatic note application via SNOTE, printer and S COT configuration, DB and index reorganization.


• Resolving deadlocks and timeouts; maintaining and monitoring DR standby server.


• Configuring system logs/alert thresholds.


• Team lead for BASIS support personnel; guiding team technically in all service areas.


• Coordinating and supporting functional teams; profile/role and authorization management.


• Implementing and managing SAP support practices; report generation and presentation.


• Responsible for entire BASIS operation and internal/external escalations.

Schedule

Required schedule availability: Monday‑Friday (05:30 a.m. to 05:30 p.m. PST). Shift timings may change as per client requirements and weekend work may be required for urgent business needs.
